WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM NETWORK DESIGN
PREAMBLE
Most Indian towns and cities suffer from the inadequate water supply, mainly due to improper water distribution
network design and maintenance. The details of existing networks are not available with urban local bodies
leading to unsatisfactory service and maintenance. Though being of utmost importance, the topic of water
distribution network design and analysis is neglected most of the time in engineering education. An urgent need
to address this skill gap is there. The present course is designed to impart the required skill in the most
straightforward manner to render competent personals that can efficiently use the latest open-source tools to
map, design and analyze water distribution networks effectively.
Program Name: Water Supply System Design and Analysis using EPANET
