- Family meals provide an opportunity for family members to come together, strengthen ties
and build better relationships. They build a sense of belonging which leads to better self-
esteem. Family meals offer parents a chance to be role models. They can set an example of
healthy eating and polite table manners. Mealtimes can be the most common time children
communicate with parents. Turning off the TV allows the family to connect and make memories
together by asking children about their day, school, friends, goals and more. This can also be a
valuable lesson for your child in the future.

4. How important is meal time for Filipinos?

- Meal time for every Filipinos is very important because mealtime in Filipino households is
supposed to bring the family together. It is the time to talk, tell each other about their days,
and really just interact with one another. Food in the Philippines brings people together.

Why should you as an individual respect and value people who are different from you?

- Knowing people that are different from you allows you to see and learn about different types
of struggles people might have. This allows you to develop empathy, which is an important life
skill. Sometimes, people who are different from us inspire us to do something different, better
or more meaningful. Receiving respect from others is important because it helps us to feel safe
and to express ourselves. Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even
when they're different from you or you don't agree with them. Respect in your relationships
builds feelings of trust, safety, and wellbeing.

together as a family. Commercial of Lucky Me is have a importance in every Filipino families, it
can inspired family to eat together so that they have a good communication with other
member of family.

- Commercial of Lucky Me as giving efforts to reminds parents of their critical role in making
regular family meal times happen. To reminds parents that they have a responsibility to their
children to become good person. We should be love spending time with our family rather than
using cell phones or other gadgets during meal time.

- The message of Lucky Me Noodles conveyed by using video.

4. What did you feel while and after watching the commercial? Site the scene/s that elicited the
feeling/s that you've mentioned.

- I am touched to the commercial that I watched because it is about family. A family is a really
important word it is the word that we use to the one we love. Family is something very
important in life because they are people you know will never fail you and always with you
when you need them and they can also give you pieces of advice with your problems. Not just
that the reason why family is important. So that we should keep our family with all of our
hearts, because family is the best gift that we received from god. Family should be here to each
other, to love and support the member of the family.

5. Who is the target audience of the message?

- This commercial inspired every family to have meal time together so that they can talk and
listen to every family members. This will help them to be stronger as a family and stays
together. The target audience of the message is every family

6. What modes were used in presenting the message?

- The type of modes that Lucky Me Noodles were used in presenting the message is visual
mode. The visual mode helps writers communicate meaning in a way that can be seen by the
audience.

7. Do you think it effectively integrate the different modes of conveying it's message? Explain.

- Effective contemporary communication requires young people to be able to comprehend,


respond to, and compose meaning through multimodal texts in diverse forms.

1. You need to be accurate at all times. Accuracy is very important is this culture.

2. When conversing, you are expected to speak only after your interlocutor is done talking. Turn talking
is highly valued.

3. You do not directly disagree because disagreements appear as personal threats. You need to resolve
the conflict immediately or avoid it completely.

4. Verbal messages are explicit and direct. What you say is more important than that the context when
or where you said it.

5. You beat around the bush. Some call it you sugar-coating your real message because verbal message,
especially bad news should be delivered directly.

6. You use words all the time because they are highly valued in this culture.

7.Communication tends to be linear, dramatic, praise and open.

8. Disagreements are not taken personally. In work for example, disagreements do not need to be
resolved immediately for work to continue. Solutions are based on rational decisions.

10. Efficiency is very important. The speed you complete a particular work is very important.

- What I have learned in interacting with other people is that I have learned other words or languages
that I can use in my communication with other people. And I also learned that there are other words
that don’t mean the same thing to them.

- Misinterpretation. Sometimes people misinterpret the message that i convey just beacuse they have a
different opinion about it.

- It helps me to transport the message to another country or place and it also helps me to make myr
work easy and it helps to communicate with my friends online.

5. What specific strategies did you use to make sure that your communication succeed?

- The strategies I used in communicating with other people is I used words that appropriate or suited
to their status, I became polite in talking and commenting about them, I listened to what was being said
or narrated and giving interest to them.

- A productive and responsible Filipino will be able to accept and adapt to any cultural differences
