The structure of an informal email:

1. Greeting.
Dear "Eve",

 Hi, "Eve",

 Hello "Eve".

2. Introduction.
"How are you?",

"How's it going?",

"How are things?",

"It's great to hear from you",

"Long time, no see!",

"Sorry I haven't written for ages",

"Thanks for...",

"I hope you're well".

Explain the reason for your email. It can be an invitation, an apology, to give a piece
of news, to ask for a favour...

3. Body.
If we want to give some news  we can say:

"Listen, did I tell you about...",

"You'll never believe what…",

"Just wanted to let you know that…",

"By the way, did you know that…?".

If we want to apologize, we could say,

"I'm really sorry that...",

"I didn't mean to...",

"Just wanted to apologise for...".

For invitations  we can use phrases such as:

"Thanks a lot for your invitation...",

"We're having a party, would you like to join us?",

"Are you doing anything next...?"

"Do you feel like....?".

For requests we can say:

I was wondering if you could do me a favor.",

"You don't mind..., do you?",

"Could I ask you...?".

If we want to make suggestions we can say:

"Why don't you...?",

"How about...?",

"You really should...",

"If you like we can...".

4. Closing Paragraph.
"I'd better get going",

"Drop me a line soon",

"Write back soon"...

Looking forward to meeting you soon.

End the email with:

"Love",

Murad

"Lots of love",

"Take care",

"Best wishes".
Sample of informal email:
Hey Leyla,
How are you going?
Thanks for sending me the photos from your holiday. It looks like you had a great
time!
I'm sorry that I couldn't get to your birthday party. I would have loved to come but I
was really busy at work and it was hard to get away. Thanks for the invitation
though.
Would it be possible for you to send me some photos from the party? I'd love to see
how it all went.
I can't wait until you come to visit in March. Do you know how long you'll be staying?
I'll try to think of some fun things to do.
See you soon.
All the best,
Jack
