2. System components
The PMS system has interface towards SWBD with synchronizers, the Diesel engine Governor, and
Engine Safety & Control system CSS.
As these vital parts are delivered to the yard, a complete system test will be performed during
commissioning.
The generator numbers and other data which is tested is to be filled in to the test document during the
test.
CONDITION: First generator "auto", "remote" and connected with 70% load. 2nd and 3rd
generators "auto", "remote", stopped and available. Bus Tie closed.
Load start at 80%, start delay 10 sec, load stop 75%, stop delay 20 sec.
Cool down 10 sec.
ACTION RESULT APPROVED
Increase load to 85% Observe 2nd generator starts,
synchronizes and connects
after a 10-sec delay.
CONDITION: Generator ___ "auto", "remote" and connected. Generators _________ and ____
"auto", "remote", stopped and available. Bus Tie closed.
