2KA Automation Setup (AC)
2KA Automation Setup (AC)
We use marketing automation to create contingency plans for our 2KA webinar funnel. When
users progress through our funnel but exit before attending the webinar, seeing the call to action
and purchasing our product, marketing automation segments them, tags them and follows up
with them via email using “contingency plans”. Marketing automation automates processes that
would usually take humans a lot of time and it dramatically improves your conversion rates and
KPI’s by 200-300% or more. This cheatsheet shows you how to set it up using ActiveCampaign:
Instructions
1. To complete this process you must have your 2KA webinar funnel setup first. If you don’t
have your 2KA webinar funnel setup, go back and set it up now. If you have it setup,
proceed.
2. Create an account with ActiveCampaign if you don’t have one already. To do that go to this
link: www.consulting.com/activecampaign. You need ActiveCampaign to proceed.
3. When you setup your 2KA funnel (using the 2KA funnel setup (AC) cheatsheet), you should
have integrated ActiveCampaign with ClickFunnels and EverWebinar. You should have
created two lists called “2KA: Webinar registrations” and “2KA: Paying customers” as well as
two tags called “2KA: Registered for webinar” and “2KA: Paying customer”. All of this should
be setup and working correctly before proceeding to the next step in this process. If you don’t
have this setup, here’s the instructions to do it now:
Integrating ActiveCampaign.
The next step is to integrate a basic CRM system so that all of the webinar registrants and
customer contact information we collect gets stored safely in a central system/database. Out
of the box, ClickFunnels and EverWebinar won't store any of the survey applications and it
can’t send emails to people either. This is an issue for us and we need to integrate a basic
CRM system into ClickFunnels & EverWebinar to solve this.
If you haven’t already, create a free trial with ActiveCampaign using this link here.

Once you’ve created your account watch this video here to see how to complete this stage of
the process.
1. Two lists called “2KA: Webinar registrations” and “2KA: Paying customers”.
2. Two tags called “2KA: Registered for webinar” and “2KA: Paying customer”.
3. Integrating ClickFunnels with EverWebinar and checking that everything works.
4. Integrating EverWebinar with ActiveCampaign and checking that everything works.
4. Now that you have all of that setup we can start to build out the automation and contingency
plans. Open up your ActiveCampaign account and navigate to the “Automations” tab.
5. On the “Automations” tab, click the “New Automation” button up the top right, click “Import
Automation” and then copy/paste the following URL into the textbox and click “Import”.
Don’t worry about setting up the automation, just exit the setup wizard and they will be saved
in your ActiveCampaign account. We will be editing this automation later on. Once you have
the campaign imported successfully, proceed to the next step.
6. Within ActiveCampaign click the “Automations” tab and then click “Edit” on the automation
called “2KA: Campaign automation”. Go through the setup process and setup the campaign
to work for you. This part of the process is better explained in a video, you can view detailed
instructions showing you how to set this up here.
**IMPORTANT: Make sure you customize the emails, if you leave these as they are your
marketing automation will fail miserably.

7. Integrating EverWebinar: Now we need to integrate EverWebinar with ActiveCampaign so
that the two systems can talk to each other and pass the necessary data between platforms.
We did step one of this process in the “2KA funnel setup (AC)” cheatsheet, but now we need
to do step two which is a deeper integration that applies more rules/triggers/logic.
This part of the process is better explained in a video, you can view detailed instructions
showing you how to set this up here.
This must be added to the end of every email link in your campaign so that you can trigger
the followup pages to display the countdown timers for every individual contact (important).
Copy/paste the green text below to the end of every campaign link in your campaign:
www.domain.com/?Id=~Contact.Id~&ptcd=~Contact._AutoWebbyExpireDate~%2011:59PM
This step is kinda complex/technical, but if you focus and work through it methodically you

will get it setup and working. If you need help, contact PlusThis support available here.
10. Integrating Kajabi: Now we need to Integrate Kajabi or whatever content portal software
you’re using to host your online course so that customers receive their login information and
access to their product automatically as soon as they purchase online.
I personally recommend Kajabi to host your course, you can create a free trial here.
To see how to hook Kajabi up to ActiveCampaign, watch this tutorial video here.
11. At this stage of the process you should have successfully linked up all of the following
platforms: ClickFunnels, ActiveCampaign, EverWebinar, Stripe, PicSnippets, PlusThis and
Kajabi... Now we need to test!
12. The final step in this process is to thoroughly test everything to make sure it’s working
correctly. This system involves a lot of moving parts and if you’re not careful you can mess
up the configuration and the automations will not work. This is why testing is extremely
important. To test your marketing automation please watch this video here for instructions.
13. Once you’ve completed all of the above steps and thoroughly tested your marketing
automation setup you’re good to go! Congratulations on completing this process, your 2KA
funnel is now at the forefront of performance/technology and you’re well ahead of most
consultants in the field today! Seriously… If you set this thing up, you’re in the top 0.002%.
