2016: American Sign Language Crew Leader, Northwest Youth

August Corps, Lake Wenatchee, WA.

 Worked with a crew of 12 young adults and two other crew

leaders for five weeks in three places.
 Taught and modeled hard work, cutting wood, uprooting
weeds, clearing a path for hikers.
 Learned how to use tools safely and effectively and showed
the crew how to work quickly and smoothly.

 Assisted kids with their homework, art projects, and

quarrels if needed.
 Planned activities for small groups and set up rules for
games so that they are safe and having fun.
 Walked with groups and pairs of children from school to
centers, ensuring their safe passage and transitioning from
school to the center.

 Managed a group of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and hearing

twelve boys for several weeks, making sure they follow the
schedule and activities daily.

 Organized a project for my boss that spanned two weeks,

with multiple sources of media.
 Diagnosed several media issues, which were causing issues
with the end product, and solved the issues in a timely
manner.
 Assembled a DVD with two songs and a DVD menu to my
boss’s satisfaction so that the DVD could be shipped to
clients.
