2. ARRIVAL
2.1. SPEED RESTRICTIONS
Unless otherwise instructed by ATC, pilots must comply with the following speed
control:
- 250 KT at or below FL 100.
- 210 KT when starting turn to intercept ILS LOC or when on ST-IN APCH at 12NM
from THR.
- 180 KT when completing turn to intercept ILS LOC or when on ST-IN APCH at
9NM from THR.
- 160 KT at 5NM from THR.
3. DEPARTURE
3.1. APRON MANAGEMENT
Departing ACFT shall receive the signal "all clear" from ground staff before
requesting start-up clearance to Cuneo Tower/Aerodrome Info.
Start-up will be provided only after ATC has received "ACFT READY" communica-
tion by APT operator.
"ACFT READY" status means:
- ACFT doors and holds are closed;
- ACFT safe area clear from vehicles, equipment, obstacles and ground
personnel;
- ACFT fully ready for taxi;
- Compulsory documentation provided to handler;
- Push-back tractor connected (nose-in stand).

Traffic circuit
Traffic circuit normally W of AD at pilots discretion and
giving previous information to AFIS.
RWY in use
RWY 21 is preferred for TKOF & LDG. When tail wind
component exceeds 5 KT (wet RWY), 7 KT (dry RWY), or on
pilots request, RWY 03 will be used.
Ground movement
ACFT leaving apron shall give way to ACFT entering
apron.
GA parking only on apron in front of air terminal.
LDG, TKOF and taxiing with caution on movement area
due to agricultural works with presence of persons and
equipment.
Miscellaneous
During actual aerobatic activity periods, LDG and TKOF
operations are not allowed, (except for HEMS flights
which shall imply a temporary suspension of the aerobatic
activity).
Bliss-bak cable within strip at RWY 21 end. TKOF & LDG
prohibited when cable is erected, EXC landing ACFT on
RWY 21 using cable.
LDG, TKOF, low passage and overflying within Cuneo ATZ
may be subject to delay due to the ascent of free
balloons for radiosoundings.
Special VFR
When AD control service is provided special VFR is not
allowed.
