USER MANUAL
Basic Functions
Thank you for purchasing the BT2 Bluetooth® Page Turner. The BT2 works with
many apps for Apple iOS, iPhones, iPads, and iPods, Bluetooth equipped Android
devices, and Bluetooth equipped PC’s and MAC’s. You will find two foot-pedal
switches on the left and right sides of the middle panel, controlling left and right
movement or up and down movement within your favorite app.

Modes
On the center panel are five buttons representing five different modes. The different
modes are used to send different commands to your favorite app and selected
device (Note: different apps use different modes, so make sure to experiment with
the different modes to determine which works with your favorite app). A small, yellow
LED indicator will indicate which mode is selected.

In the table below, each mode button is listed with its function and use:

Power ON/OFF Indicators

• ON: Indicates that the BT2 is receiving power and is ready to setup/use.
• OFF: Indicates that the BT2 isn’t receiving power or has been turned off by the
user.
Repeat ON/OFF Indicators
• If the Repeat indicator is ON, pressing and holding the foot pedal will send
continuous commands to the receiving device. Pressing and holding the left
pedal for example, will trigger an unlimited series of Left Arrow commands.
which will scroll through pages quickly and with one motion.
• If the Repeat indicator is OFF, each pressing of the foot pedal will send a single
command to the receiving device. Pressing and holding the left pedal, for
example, will trigger a single Left Arrow command. To scroll through multiple
pages you must now press the food pedal multiple times.

Powering On
First, check the battery power level before you start using the product. In order to
do this, the power toggle-switch must be turned on. After this, the LED indicator will
lig t up wit a spe ifi olor, suggesting the battery power level as listed below:

Recommended Apps
There are many great apps that work with the BT2. Here is a list of our favorites, but
you can try other apps as well by pressing through different modes on the BT2
within your favorite app to see what works. Please note that different apps receive
different key-commands/modes, so you may have to check with the app developer

Reconnected State
If the BT2 gets out of the connectivity range of 10 meters, the pedal will
automatically disconnect and the Reconnected State will engage. The LED indicator
will as rapidly for 10 seconds and its color will correspond to the battery power
levels.

Once the pedal gets back to the reception range of 10 meters, the Bluetooth
connectivity will detect it and auto-connect.

Sleep Function
In order to save power, the BT2 will activate the Sleep function after 25 minutes of
inactivity. To use again, simply press down either of the pedals to wake it up and the
BT2 will be ready to operate.

Charging
Your BT2’s built-in battery should last 50+ hours on a single charge.
In order to increase the battery’s lifetime, charge only when the battery is below
60 % charge (yellow or red LED indicator).

When charging, the LED indicator will show a red light near the USB port. Once fully
charged, the LED will turn green.

If the user charges the pedal with a house outlet it will reach a 100-percent charge
after 3 hours.

If the user charges the pedal with a computer via USB it will reach a full charge after
7 hours.

Virtual Keyboard Function

Because the BT2 operates as a “keyboard”, your device will not automatically activate
its built-in virtual keyboardboard function when the BT2 is connected. If you need to
make any notes within your sheet music app or use another function that requires
keyboard abilities while the BT2 is connected, you will need to activate the BT’s
Virtual Keyboard Function.

To activate the built-in Virtual Keyboard Function, press down both the left and right
pedals at the same time. To deactivate the function, press down both pedals again.

Please note that not all apps will respond to this feature and you may need to
disconnect the BT2 to utilize your device’s virtual keyboard. Also note that the virtual
keyboard will only activate when a text box is selected.
