VPN CONNECTION

INSTRUCTION
Window to Window
1.0 I NTRODUC TION

This document is intended to provide proper instruction to users to connect Chetu network
through VPN.

2.0 VPN C ONNECTION ENVIR ONMENT

We supports for three environments Windows, Mac and Linux.

2.1 Machines
We have configured Forticlient VPN to connect Windows machines. Below are the step-by-step
instruction.

2.1.1 Window to Window


Step 1. Download Forticlient VPN from Chetu Cloud. Below is the credentials.

Path – Setup\ FortiClientSetup_6.4.3.1608_x64.msi

{Path-FortiClient VPN Package-User OS-Windows – Workstation OS-Window - Setup}

(If your computer OS is 32 bit- use “FortiClientVPNSetup_6.4.3.1608_x86” setup).

Setp 2. After installing fort client, need to configure VPN setting.


Setp 3. Go to your Desktop and look for “Forticlient VPN” icon. Click on that icon to open.
Setp 4. Open Forticlient and configure below details.
I. Choose VPN as SSL_VPN

II. Connection name Chetuvpn
III. Description(optional) Chetuvpn connection

IV. If you are located in A186, Please make sure you put vpn-in.chetu.com for remote
gateway in below screen.

V. If you are located in H6, Please make sure you put h6vpn.chetu.com for remote
gateway in below screen.
VI. Check customize port and enter 10443 for both premises.
VII. Save configuration.

Step 5. Enter credential and click on connect than put the 2FA code shown in Microsoft
Authenticator app in mobile device.

Step 6. After successful connection user can take their system on remote with Computer Name.
Step 7. Run – MSTSC

Step 8.
In below screenshot, RD Gateway Server setting (Server Name) is different floor to floor. Make
sure you use the serve name based on your floor location.

For A186 Users

For H6 Users

Step 9.
In Below screen make sure you use your office workstation Name (Computer Name)
