IELTS Speaking part 1

1. Why do some people keep pets at home?

I think we would all agree that pets are loyal companions to humans. Especially for
those who adopt pets when they were just newborns, these animals are like precious
children to many families.

2. Have you ever had a pet before?

I used to have a puppy when I was a kid. He and I were best friends, actually. I
remember taking him to the park, feeding him with milk and training him with many cool
tricks. Sadly, when I got older, I discovered that I am allergic to dog fur, so I had to give him
away.

IELTS Speaking part 2:

3. Describe a Family member who you spend the most time with

I am going to talk about my father – a person I spend the most time with. His name is
Cao Son, which can be literally translated into English as ‘High Mountain”. Although he is
already in his early sixties, he looks pretty much younger with a fine figure and surprisingly,
not a lot of wrinkles and grey hair to be found. He really knows how to dress smartly also.

Definitely, I love watching films, all genres of them. I try to absorb and enjoy as many
different kinds of films as I can, whether it be the blockbuster Avengers: End Game,
emotional roller coaster-like Parasite, or visual effects such as The Lion King. Film is a
medium that can transport you to radically different worlds and environments. That’s why I
and so many others love it.

Circle Noun

IELTS Speaking part 2: Describe a skill that takes a long time to learn

Today I’m going to talk about a skill that takes a long time to learn, which is the playing
instrument skill. Specifically here, I have the bass guitar. I originally started playing
instruments by playing the actual guitar here as you can see.

And then I slowly moved on to bass which I really love. But it’s not a very easy instrument to
play. As you can see the string is really thick, so for a girl’s hand which is this little, it was
really painful starting it, and then it took me a really long time to slowly get used to it.
