Joomla is a very popular CMS. Please review the current jobs available worldwide for Joomla
administrators and developers:

What skills are employers looking for? What further training opportunities exist for learning
about Joomla? List at least three jobs in your country or nearby, which you could consider.

There are currently not any jobs in my area for Joomla administrators or developers that I could
locate. The nearest employers I could find who are searching for Joomla administrators and
developers are looking for a varying range of skillsets.

Skills that employers are looking for:

 Comprehensive knowledge of Joomla and its related technologies.


 Experienced with optimizing Joomla based websites for high volumes of traffic and load.
 Experience with configuring Joomla, using advanced features and managing user
permissions.
 Minimum two years of experience in professional commercial projects.
 Good knowledge of CMS, MySQL, HTML and CSS.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Experience with Adobe Photoshop CS2.
 Experience with OOP, AJAX and jQuery.
 Minimum two years of experience in PHP programming.

Many training opportunities exist for learning about Joomla. The official Joomla site offers may
tutorials and resources to learn from which anyone can utilize for free. Udemy is an online
learning site which has a huge variety of courses, some which teach Joomla, offered by

Joomla was Youtube because there are many instructors and professionals putting out free videos
and tutorials everyday which can be amazing study resources.
