and be prepared with pointers to discuss with the mentor.

It is often possible for one to feel overwhelmed by the number of tasks

he/she has to complete within a day and sometimes missing out on
important deadlines because of the same. This can be managed by creating a
To-Do list for oneself. The list should include all the tasks that you are
expected to complete with the most important ones on the top to the least
important ones at the bottom. By doing this you will be prioritising as well
as completing all your tasks.

ACTIVITY 3 : CREATE A TO-DO LIST

Mentee- Mentor should have their To-Do list Template printed and ready.

● Prepare a To-Do list.

● List the tasks (different lists – personal, work, studies) and compile them
on the different to-do lists.
● Run through the tasks and re-categorize them based on their importance
with A being the most important or urgent and F being least important
or urgent. You could also priorities tasks based on your interest or
level of motivation which can help finish later tasks faster.

Scheduling is the art of planning your activities so that you can achieve your
goals and priorities in the time you have available. When it's done effectively, it
helps you:
- Understand what you can realistically achieve with your time.
- Make sure you have enough time for essential tasks.
- Add contingency time for "the unexpected."
- Avoid taking on more than you can handle.
- Work steadily toward your personal and career goals.
- Have enough time for family and friends, exercise and hobbies.
- Achieve a good work-life balance.

Scheduling helps you think about what you want to achieve in a day, week or
month and it keeps you on track to accomplish your goals.

sleeping (6 hours = 6 squares), bathing, eating, travel, TV time etc.

2) On the 2nd page and this time, ask them to fill the squares based
on the time they spend on non-productive time in their college like tea-
breaks, water cooler chats, travel, social-media and emails etc.

3) In the end, on the 3rd page ask them to collate the data from “Page1” and
“Page 2” and these empty squares represent their productive time. Using
