Installation

Please run 'D:\Setup.exe' from the CD-ROM, assuming D as your CD-ROM drive, or
Insert CD ROM Disk into the CD Drive
Double Click My Computer Icon on Desktop
Double Click CD Drive Icon
Double Click Setup Icon and follow instructions to complete installation

After the Installation, select Start -> Programs -> Shakti -> Typing Tutor -> Aasaan Hindi.

To Uninstall in Windows 95 or NT 4.0:


Use the standard uninstall feature "Add/Remove Programs" in the Control Panel.

Requirements
This version of Aasaan 1.0 (Typing Tutor) for Windows will run on Windows 95/98 or Windows
NT 4.0 or Windows 2000 or Windows Me or Windows XP. Windows NT 4.0 users must have appropriate
access privileges (e.g. Administrator) to install and/or uninstall this version of Aasaan 1.0 (Typing
Tutor) for Windows. Consult your systems administrator for further information on Windows NT 4.0
access privilege configuration.

A. You may use one copy of the Aasaan (Typing Tutor) SOFTWARE identified above on a single
computer. The SOFTWARE is in "use" on a computer when it is loaded into temporary memory (i.e.
RAM) or installed into permanent memory (e.g. hard disk, CD-ROM, or other storage devise) of that
computer. However, installation on a network server for the sole purpose of internal distribution to one
or more other computer(s) shall not constitute "use" for which a separate license is required, provided
you have a separate license for each computer to which the SOFTWARE is distributed.

B. Solely with respect to electronic documents included with the SOFTWARE, you may make a copy
(either in hardcopy or electronic form), provided that the number of copies made shall not exceed the
number of licenses you own for that SOFTWARE, and further provided that such copies shall be used only
for internal purposes and are not republished or distributed to any third party.

C. You may use this version and product tours, as described on the CD-ROM, of the software products
included on this CD-ROM for the limited purposes of demonstrations, trials and design time evaluations
and running a product tour.

computer. During this process no personal information is taken from your system. If you don’t want such
pictures to be downloaded, you may do this by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del together and click End Task over
Banner.

Troubleshooting Tips.

1. Why don' t I see anything in Hindi (Everything is Junk!!!!)?

All you have to do is to REFRESH your FONTS folder. To do this press START -> SETTINGS
-> CONTROL PANEL -> FONTS and select view menu , refresh (Press function key F5) to get
HINmith0 font.

After the Installation, select Start -> Programs -> Shakti -> Typing Tutor -> Aasaan Hindi.

2. Illegal operation caused in richtx32.ocx

This occurs rarely when the user tries to close the report session after hitting wrong keys
continuously in the paragraph drill.

3. Why is the last character not highlighted in Windows 2000/XP?

In the basic single line key practice session, the last character (space) will not be highlighted in
operating systems Windows 2000/XP. User can manually key in a space using spacebar and
continue the session.

4. Are there English Standards for practicing typing tutor?

In this typing tutor, we follow only the American Standards for key inputs.
