 MANUAL INSTRUCTION FOR LEARN
REMOTE CONTROL EDISION UNIVERSAL 2in1
EDISION UNIVERSAL 2in1 REMOTE CONTROL is compatible with all EDISION STB’s*, plus it is
pre-programmed with 5 basic functions for SAMSUNG & LG tv sets. Alternatively, you can program
its 5 programmable buttons to any 5 functions of your TV.

LG & SAMSUNG are brand names that belong solely to LG Electronics Inc. and Samsung Electron-
ics Co., Ltd respectively. Any brand name reference in this text is only for informational purposes
towards the consumer that is interested in the product. There is a minor percentage that some
SAMSUNG & LG TV models or some of their functions are not fully supported or not supported at all.
If this situation occurs, please contact us.

Your set-top-box remote control has 5 learning-function keys, in the up right hand side TV keypad
panel area. Each one can be used accordingly as the following example:
1. Turning your TV set ON/OFF [TV POWER]
2. Selecting screen RATIO [Auto, 16:9, 4:3, etc)]
3. Increasing/decreasing volume [VOL+ , VOL-]
4. Command confirmation [BACK or EXIT]
The other 48 keys are for the control of the EDISION set-top-box.

SET UP FOR LEARNING FUNCTION

• Press [TV POWER] key in the up right hand side TV keypad panel area continuously for 5 Sec. until the
LED lights up and keep lighting, then release the key. This means the remote control is in the learning
mode.
• Within 10 seconds, press the key in the original TV IR control, which needs to be learned, for example
the [POWER] key, then the red LED is flashing. It means this button is ready to receive the learning
signal.
• Aim the emission port of the original TV remote control at the front at the emission port at the front of
your set-top box remote control (distance between these two ports has to be about 2~3 CM).
• Then press the key which is to be learned in your original TV remote control, for example the [POWER]
key of your original TV remote control continuously for 3 seconds. If the red LED flashes quickly for three
times and keep lighting, it means the set-top box remote control has succeeded in receiving the signal
and you have completed the learning procedure of ON/OFF [TV POWER] key.
• Then release the [POWER] key of your original TV remote control.

If the copying procedure fails , the red LED will blink and stay OFF. In this case please repeat the procedure.

For the next programmable function, please repeat steps 1 to 3:

• Selecting screen ratio with RATIO [Auto, 16:9, 4:3, etc]
• Increasing/decreasing volume [VOL+ , VOL-]
• Command confirmation [BACK or EXIT]

Now you can operate your TV with the 5 programmed by you keys of your set-top box remote control. During
the operation, the LED will flash to indicate that the signal is transmitted!

REMARKS
1. If no signals are sent in 10 seconds, the device will exit the learning mode automatically.
2. Please bear in mind that only the 5 keys in the up right hand side TV keypad panel area.
After the successful learning, the 5 keys are used to control your TV set and the rest 48 keys are for
controlling your set-top-box.
3. In the process of learning, if on the new remote control the red led flash three times and keep lighting
for 5 seconds, the remote control is ready for the learning of the next key.
4. The 5 learning keys are capable of learning signals sent from remote controls of different TV brands.
5. Please bear in mind that most TV could be learned, but not all. If you have any question, please do not
hesitate to contact the shop that you purchased it from.

Die Fernbedienung EDISION UNIVERSAL 2in1 ist kompatibel mit alle EDISION Receiver*, außerdem bereit und
vorprogrammiert mit die 5 wichtigen Funktionen für SAMSUNG & LG TV‘s. Allerdings können Sie die 5 Tasten
beliebig für jeden TV programmieren.
Die LG & Samsung Logos gehören zu den Hersteller LG Electronics Inc. und Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Jede
Bezugnahme in diesem Text bezieht sich ausschließlich auf Informationen für das Produkt des Verbrauchers.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass einige Funktionen in SAMSUNG & LG-TV‘s Modellen nicht vollständig oder gar nicht
unterstützt werden. In diesem Fall kontaktieren Sie uns bitte.
Die Fernbedienung verfügt über 5 Tasten zur Programmierung eines TV’s. Jede Taste kann zur Programmie-
rung verwendet werden für:
1. An und Aus-Schalten des Fernsehers [TV Power]
2. RATIO auswählen [Auto, 16:9, 4:3, etc.]
3. Regelung der Lautstärke [VOL+ , VOL-]
4. Bestätigung der Anweisung [zurück oder Exit]
Die restlichen 48 Tasten sind zur Handhabung der Funktionen des EDISION Receivers.
EINSTELLUNGEN DER FUKNTIONEN DES FERNSEHERS
• Drücken Sie die TV Power - Taste im rechten oberen Bereich für 5 Sekunden kontinuierlich, bis die Kon-
trollleuchte an bleibt. Lassen Sie die Taste frei, die Fernbedienung ist bereit Anweisungen zu kopieren.
• Innerhalb von höchstens 10 Sekunden drücken Sie die Taste, auf der Sie eine Funktion kopieren möch-
ten. z.B. EINSCHALTEN/AUSSCHALTEN [TV Power Taste] anschließend leuchtet die rote Anzeige-
leuchte und ist somit bereit eine Funktion zu speichern.
• Richten Sie das ‘‘Auge’’ der Grundfernbedienung auf das ‘‘Auge’’ der neuen Fernbedienung im Abstand
von 2-3 cm
• Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, die sie kopieren möchten, auf der Grundfernbedienung z.B. POWER für
3 Sekunden. Wenn die Anzeigeleuchte auf der neuen Fernbedienung 3 mal schnell anleuchtet bedeudet
das, dass die Funktion SPEICHERN AN- und AUSSCHALTEN TV erfolgreich auf der Fernbedieunung des
Receivers gespeichert wurde.
• Nun können Sie die Taste AN- und AUSSCHALTEN TV des Fernsehers freigeben.
Wenn der Prozess fehlgeschlagen ist, wird die rote Leuchte an und ausschalten und dann weiterhin aus blei-
ben. In diesem Fall wiederholen Sie den Vorgang.
Wiederholen Sie den oben beschriebenen Vorgang für die folgenden Funktionen:
• RATIO auswählen (Auto, 16:9, 4:3, etc.)
• Regelung der Lautstärke [VOL+ , VOL-]
• Bestätigung der Anweisung [zurück oder Exit]
Nun können Sie die 5 Funktionen des Fernsehers mit der Universal 2in1 Fernbedienung nutzen!
BEMERKUNGEN
1. Wenn innerhalb von 10 Sekunden während des Kopiervorgangs nichts empfangen wird, ist er fehlgeschlagen.
2. Nur die 5 Tasten im rechten oberen Bereich entsprechen den Funktionen des Fernsehers. Die restlichen Tasten
werden für die Funktionen des Receivers benutzt.
3. Wenn, während des Kopiervorgangs, die Leuchte auf der neuen Fernbedienung 3 mal an und ausleuchtet und
daraufhin für 5 Sekunden an bleibt, bedeutet das, dass die Fernbedienung bereit ist um weitere Funktionen
aufzunehmen.
4. Die 5 Tasten für die Funktionen des Fernsehers können die entsprechenden Funktionen verschiedener Marken
aufnehmen.
5. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die meiste TV-Fernbedienungen kopieren werden können. Kann aber auch sein, dass
manche TV-Fernbedienungen nicht kompatibel sind. In diesen Fall kontaktieren Sie Ihren Fachhändler.

Το EDISION UNIVERSAL 2in1 είναι συμβατό με όλους τους EDISION δέκτες* και επιπλέον έτοιμο προ-
γραμματισμένο με τις 5 βασικές λειτουργίες για τηλεοράσεις SAMSUNG & LG. Ωστόσο, μπορείτε να
προγραμματίσετε τα 5 κουμπιά που διαθέτει με οποιαδήποτε τηλεόραση της επιλογής σας.
Τα LG & SAMSUNG είναι εμπορικά σήματα και ανήκουν στην LG Electronics Inc. και Samsung
Electronics Co., Ltd αντίστοιχα. Η οποιαδήποτε αναφορά τους στο κείμενο αυτό, γίνεται αποκλειστικά
για λόγους πληροφόρησης των ενδιαφερομένων για την συσκευή καταναλωτών.
Παρακαλούμε να ληφθεί υπόψη το γεγονός ότι ενδέχεται (σε ελάχιστη αναλογία), κάποιες από τις λει-
τουργίες σε κάποια μοντέλα τηλεοράσεων SAMSUNG & LG να μην υποστηρίζονται πλήρως ή να μην
υποστηρίζονται καθόλου. Στην περίπτωση αυτή, παρακαλούμε επικοινωνήστε μαζί μας.
Το τηλεχειριστήριο σας διαθέτει 5 προγραμματιζόμενα πλήκτρα. Το κάθε ένα προγραμματιζόμενο πλή-
κτρο μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί για π.χ. :
1. Χρήση του ανοίγματος / κλεισίματος της τηλεόρασης σας [TV POWER]
2. Εναλλαγή λειτουργίας RATIO [Auto, 16:9, 4:3, κ.ά.]
3. Αύξηση / Μείωση ήχου [VOL+ , VOL-]
4. Επιβεβαίωση εντολής [Back ή Exit]
Τα υπόλοιπα 48 πλήκτρα είναι για χειρισμό των λειτουργιών του δέκτη EDISION.

ΡΥΘΜΙΣΗ ΤΩΝ ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΩΝ ΤΗΣ ΤΗΛΕΟΡΑΣΗΣ

• Πιέστε το TV POWER στην επάνω δεξιά περιοχή TV για 5 δευτερόλεπτα συνεχόμενα μέχρι η φωτεινή ένδει-
ξη να παραμένει αναμμένη. Απελευθερώστε το πλήκτρο και το τηλεχειριστήριο είναι σε λειτουργία αντιγρα-
φής εντολών.
• Μέσα σε 10 δευτερόλεπτα το πολύ, πιέστε το πλήκτρο στο οποίο θέλετε να αντιγράψετε την λειτουργία π.χ.
POWER και η κόκκινη φωτεινή ένδειξη θα ανάβει δείχνοντας οτι είναι έτοιμη για αποθήκευση εντολής.
• Στοχεύστε το ¨ματι¨ στην μπροστινή πλευρά του βασικού τηλεχειριστηρίου της τηλεόρασης σας, στο ¨ματι¨
της μπροστινής πλευράς του νέου σας τηλεχειριστηρίου σε απόσταση 2 - 3 εκατοστών.
• Πιέστε το πλήκτρο στο βασικό σας τηλεχειριστήριο τηλεόρασης το οποίο θέλετε να αντιγράψετε π.χ. POWER,
συνεχόμενα για ~3 δευτερόλεπτα. Αν το φωτάκι στο νέο σας τηλεχειριστήριο ανάβει γρήγορα 3 φορές και
μένει αναμμένο σημαίνει οτι η εντολή ΑΠΟΘΗΚΕΥΣΗ ΑΝΟΙΓΜΑΤΟΣ / ΚΛΕΙΣΙΜΑΤΟΣ TV αποθηκεύθηκε
με επιτυχία στο τηλεχειριστήριο του δέκτη σας.
• Απελευθερώστε το πλήκτρο ΑΝΟΙΓΜΑΤΟΣ / ΚΛΕΙΣΙΜΑΤΟΣ TV στο τηλεχειριστήριο της TV σας.

Αν η διαδικασία αποτύχει το κόκκινο φωτάκι θα αναβοσβήσει και θα μένει σβηστό. Στην περίπτωση αυτή, επανα-
λάβετε την διαδικασία.

Επαναλάβετε την παραπάνω διαδικασία αντιγραφής και για τις υπόλοιπες λειτουργίες:
• Εναλλαγή λειτουργίας RATIO [Auto, 16:9, 4:3, κ.ά.]
• Αύξηση / Μείωση ήχου [VOL+ , VOL-]
• Επιβεβαίωση εντολής [Back ή Exit]

Τώρα μπορείτε να χειρίζεστε αυτές τις 5 λειτουργίες της TV σας απο το χειριστήριο του δέκτη σας με φωτεινή
ένδειξη κατα την εντολή σας!

ΠΑΡΑΤΗΡΗΣΕΙΣ
1. Αν δεν λάβει σήμα εντός 10 δευτερολέπτων κατά την λειτουργία αντιγραφής, θα βγει από αυτήν.
2. Μόνο τα 5 πλήκτρα στην πάνω δεξιά πλευρά αντιστοιχούν στις συγκεκριμένες λειτουργίες της TV σας. Όλα
τα υπόλοιπα είναι για χειρισμό του δέκτη σας.
3. Κατά την διαδικασία αντιγραφής λειτουργιών αν το φωτάκι στο νέο χειριστήριο αναβοσβήνει 3 φορές και
ανάβει συνέχεια για 5 δευτερόλεπτα σημαίνει ότι είναι έτοιμο να δεχτεί την επόμενη αντιγραφή λειτουργίας.
4. Τα 5 πλήκτρα χειρισμού TV μπορούν να δεχτούν τις αντίστοιχες λειτουργίες από πολλές μάρκες τηλεχειρι-
στηρίων TV.
5. Παρακαλώ έχετε υπ΄όψιν σας ότι δέχεται αντιγραφή από πολλές μάρκες τηλεχειριστηρίων TV αλλά ενδέχε-
ται να υπάρχει ασυμβατότητα με κάποιες. Απευθυνθείτε στο κατάστημα αγοράς για περαιτέρω ενημέρωση.
