The speaker in our webinar is Prof. Canaman. He discussed us about statistical tools and

research analysis data. He said that statistic is a collection of quantitative data and the practice of

science of collecting and analyzing numerical data in large quantities, especially for the purpose

of inferring proportions in a whole from those in a representative sample. Making effective

business decisions are always based on marketing research, data mining, information analysis

and findings. The way of the finding the answer is statistic.

For me, I agree of what he discussed with us. Because what he teach us is the same when

I research it. And I’m impressed of him the way how he speak it’s very clear and informative. I

have learned a lot to Prof. Canaman and because of that, it is easier for us to know how to do

with our research papers.

Therefore, statistic tools enable us to organize and arrange the data, to link up their

relationship by using calculation and diagrams, to analyze the results, finally evaluate errors,

generate conclusions from small group to large group.

 ORIENTATION AND CPU CORE VALUES

Our Speaker is Rev. Francis Neil Jalandoni, He is also a Graduate of the College of

Business and Accountancy. He proceeds to study theology for pastoral. He discussed with us the

history of our school and shared with us the meaning of Central Philippine University's Core

Values. He mentioned in our webinar, that he is proposing the mission of CPU. Because Dr.

Teodoro Robles asked him of he could revised it.

If ever that the mission of CPU will revised, I agree with him. I like the way how he

shared his knowledge with us. A few months from now we are about to face the reality. We

should still apply the core values that we learn from CPU. I’m proud that being a Centralian is

not only about excellence in our studies but they teach us how to be good Christian.

Therefore, the Core Values of Central Philippine University are not only applicable

inside the campus and for the students who are enrolled, but also applicable after we graduate.

And we should apply this in everyday in our life.

KALISOD: EXPLORING MENTAL HEALTH AND IT’S RELEVANCE IN TODAY’S TIME

Dr. Chin shared to us about Psychological Consequences of Covid 19. Mental health

reflects our emotional, psychological and social well being. Many people experience Mental

health illness such as depression, anxiety etc. she also discussed why most people experience this

kind of mental health illness. She also discussed about the Stress and Anxiety during this

pandemic and the Understanding the Context of Anxiety. There are three context of anxiety

which is fear, anxiety and normal anxiety. Fear is emotional response to real perceived imminent

threat, Anxiety is an exaggerated feeling of apprehension, uncertainly and fear while Normal

Anxiety is related to a specific situation or a problem.

I agree, because all that she discussed about mental health is true. Many people suffering

from depression nowadays especially the students because of this modules and online class. They

are stressed of paper works and others to the signal of the internet. Mental illness is also called

psychiatric disorder, which affects an individual’s way of thinking, behaving and perceiving, and

also interacting with other people.

A lot of people struggling in mental health illness. Therefore, if you feel that illness you

have to tell someone that you can trust of. Talk to them share your problems. If you can’t do that

you can also visit the specialist so that it can’t be worst. And above all talk to God you can share

all your problems to him.

 UNTANGLE: HOW TO PREPARE A CASE ANALYSIS

Our speaker in todays’s webinar is Prof. Nelia G. Bonete. She discussed about a very

important topic which is, how we prepare our Case Analysis. She said that when writing analysis

you should gather the information needed as stated in the Outline of the Case Report. Then you

will arrange the write-up according to the format. She also said that we will prepare our analysis

using the tips in the methodology.

I agree with Prof. Bonete. Because when I researched the Case Analysis what she teached

to us, is the same when I researched it in online. I like her of how she explained to us about what

should we do when preparing our Case Analysis. She explained it very well. I learned a lot from

her. And because of that someday when I have my own business, I will never forget of what

Prof. Bonete teach to us about How to Prepare a Case Analysis.

I recommend that, when someday if you have your own business you must not forget to

do the case analysis. Because it is important to evaluates the benefit, cost and risk of alternative

options. And also to show how their product or service has been implemented successfully by

customers. And lastly case analysis allow businesses to show their product of how it can be used.

That’s why we should not forget of what’s Prof. Bonete teach us of doing Case Analysis.
LAUDE AT WORK: LEARNING AND UNDERSTANDING DISCIPLINE AND ETHICS AT

SPEAKER: DR. MARGEN A. JAVA

Dr. Java shared about Ethics in the Workplace. She discussed about Ideal behavior which

is knew, the proper thing to do and doing it considerately and graciously. She also said that

employers should value the employee. And also Dr. Java said that an employee’s must have

well-groomed appearance and ability to greet people because it can create a good impression of

the firm. She also said that work ethic is a value based on hard work and diligence. In other

words, work ethic is not something we are born with, it’s a learned behavior. She said that

attitude is very important in work. Because attitude can define what person are you.

I agree on what she discussed in our Webinar. It was a great opportunity for us to have

her as a speaker because of her, now we know how to do when in work place. The importance of

Discipline and Ethics at Work is to have more productive and less stressful atmosphere. Because

the purpose of discipline in the workplace is that among others to ensure all employees are

treated equally. A disciplined work environment facilitates management as well as employees

being on their best behavior. That’s why Attitude in work place is important as what Dr. Java

said.

Therefore, always remember that someday if you have a work you should be cultivate

self-discipline and develop professionalism, practice punctuality, use your time wisely and stay

balanced. Then form a “do it right” habit and adopt a “can do” attitude, build reputation for being

reliable and responsible. Also you should focus and persistence, begin your days on a very high

note and exercise it regularly.

 WORK LIFE BALANCE: IMPROVE LIFE PRODUCTIVITY AND SUCCESS

The speaker for today is Prof. Habunal. She discussed about the history how people

handle work-life, balance, and how it will improve productivity and success. Also she

mentioned the importance of work-life balance. It is important that you have a work-life balance

because others when they are bad mood before going to their work they are bad mood in whole

day and it’s not good because it can affect to your works.

I agree with what the speaker shared with us. Because it is important that work life and

private life are different. That’s why if you have a problem at your private life you should not

bring it in you work life. Otherwise you have a possibility to be fired.

I recommend that to improve your work-life balance, you should consider what times of

day you work best and factor in your personal needs. Try scheduling your time in advance and

having a conversation with your manager to ensure you are both in the same page. And if you are

struggling to find balance, have a conversation with your loved ones and take a closer look at the

division of labor in your household.

We have two speaker in our webinar. The 1st speaker is Dr. Javier. She discussed to us

about Professionalism and for her, it’s the skill, good judgement, and polite behavior that is

expected from a person who is trained to do a job well. Professionalism means skill, behavior,

relationship and appearance this four is important in professionalism. While the 2nd speaker is a

former graduate in Central Philippine University. Ms. Plondaya shared to us about Personality

Development and Etiquette. She said Personality refers to the pattern of characteristic thoughts,

feelings, and behavior of a person that distinguishes one person from another person. And also

for her Communication is central in how we live. She said that we must have a Confidence and

Happiness, Leading and Motivating, Credibility, Interacting and Communication Skills.

I agree of what they discussed to us. Because of what Dr. Javier said for Professionalism

is true. That we should have a skill, good behavior, a good relationship and a good appearance at

work. Because it is a big help for our work someday. And for Ms. Plondaya, I also agree to her

when she said that Communication is a central in how we live. Because without communication

it is hard for us especially if we have a work in the near future.

Professionalism is one of the biggest factors in our level of career success. Workplace

professionalism refers to behaving with integrity and in manner that shows others that they can

count on you to do your job well. About Personality Development to improve it we should be a

better listener, read more and expand you interests, be a good conversationalist, be yourself, have

a positive outlook and attitude, be supportive of others and lastly, have an integrity and treat

people with respect.

 EXPOSED: RECOGNIZING AND MANAGING WORKPLACE CHALLENGES

Our speaker for today’s Webinar Session is Mr. Bais. He talked about the challenges that

we will encounter in our workplace someday. He also shared to us about his experience in his

past work and how he handle this challenge. He said that if you have a conflict with your

workmate it’s better to avoid it. Because sometimes avoidance is better than to make a war with

them. And also I enjoy listening to him whenever he adviced us about this kind of challenge.

I agree on how Mr. Bais shared to us. Because I believe of what he said that, whenever

you and your workmate do not understand to each other, it’s better to avoid and not to talk to that

person. And because of that I’ve learned a lot from him. Starting now even if not in workplace, I

will try to avoid the people who I conflict of, so that my mind is peaceful and it can help us also

for less stress. And lastly I’m impressed on how he manage his temper in his work.

I gain a lot of knowledge from the Webinar Session today. Because of that, I recommend

to all students like me that, someday if you have conflict in your work, please remain positive

and relax your brain. Do not stress your self. Because it can affect that to your mental health.

And also, the important things do is to avoid them. If your mind is already relax try to talk to that

person in a nice way. I hope that we will not forget this lesson.
 SINGDANAN: TURNING IDEAS INTO PROFITABLE VENTURES

Starting a business is challenging and the possibility of failure is so high that amateurs

succumbed to fear. Our speaker for today shared us about how you will turn your ideas into

profitable ventures. Mr. Java said that their ideas when they started to have a business is that

when they go around the City and have a coffee with his friends. And because of that, they find

out that all of the study hub in City doesn’t have a complete like a coffee, internet and socket.

And because of that they planned to have a study hub that has a coffee, internet and a socket. He

said that, if you have a business you must have a good relationship to the people. If you have a

good relationship to others, you can easily earn a lot of money. And the important things to do if

you plan to have a business, you must not fear when you invest the money. In other words “face

your fear”. And that was Mr. Java said to us.

I agree on how he shared his knowledge to the viewers. Especially those people who

want to have business during this time of pandemic. He is very passionate in sharing all of his

ideas and tips on how to have a mini business and unexpectedly turn into a successful business.

And also I want to be like him because in his early age he had already a business.

Blessings do come in many forms. Therefore the best way to do is to continue searching,

continue making, continue cultivating what makes you happy, and above all thank God for what

He has done. Don’t lose hope. Because I know God has a plan for us.
 BUILDING WEALTH WITH STOCKS: DISCOVER OPPORTUNITIES IN THE REAL

Our resource speaker teach us how to invest wisely. He said that, the best thing to do is to

invest in the real estate. Because the value of land and a house when it takes longer it’s more

expensive. That’s why if you have enough money now or if you can loan in the bank try to invest

early so that it’s not that expensive. Prof. Baldeviso said that Investing and Sacrificing is to have

a better future. And also the first and best thing to start investing is by saving money. He said

that save a little and start your own investment. He teach us how to saved money. Prof.

Baldeviso example us about Manny Villar and Cynthia Villar, because they are one of a very

successful real estate here in the Philippines. And lastly he said that Make Your Money Work for

You.

I agree on how Prof. Baldeviso teach with us. Because saving money is very important.

I’m inspire of what he shared with us. Because of him I know what to do to save my money.

Real estate is important because, you can leverage your investment, you can force appreciation,

also you’ll get tax benefits, you can earn regular cash flow, you may feel financially secured, and

what I like in real estate is that, you can pass it down to your heirs.

I recommend that, to be a successful real estate broker, you should diversify your

investments, don’t over leverage yourself, join a local net working, leverage the expert. Also get

to know your market, set the budget and time line. Then treat your investments like business,

know your tax laws, make your money when you buy, have multiple exit strategies. Lastly learn

about market cycle theory. How I wish someday I will be a successful real estate broker.
 CRYPTOCURRENCY: MONEY REDEFINED

Our guest speaker for Today's Webinar is Mr. Chris Tan. He mentioned about the value of

Philippine peso to US dollar. Also he said that if we have a lot of money don’t put it all in the

banks. Because for him banks earn money from our money. So better to invest it so that it will

grow. He also mentioned the Bitcoin. And he said that the bitcoin is a cryptocurrency and has a

an open ledger. Bitcoin his trustless, immutable and hackable.

I agree on what Mr. Tan said. Because for me it’s better to invest money than put in

banks. Also cryptocurrency is a financial technology innovations that could well benefit the

unbanked and others who would benefit from greater access capital could well be stymied by

well-intended regulations in the Philippine.

I recommend that if you invest in cryptocurrency investment is the community,

fundamental analysis, the team, the technology, the white paper, their vision. Also their

leadership, pricing history, credibility and reputation, lastly the road map. And also we should

always remember what Mr. Tan shared to us, because it can help us someday.
 PAGPANILAG: A CLOSER LOOK AT FRAUD AND RISK MANAGEMENT

The speaker of our webinar explain us the Fraud and Risk Management. For him Fraud is

an any illegal act characterized by deceit, concealment or violation of trust. And Mr. Libunao

said that the Fraud are perpetrated by parties and organizations to obtain money, property or

services. And for the Fraud Risk, the possibility that the Fraud will occur and the potential effect

to the organization when it occurs and that is what Fraud Risk to him. He discussed us the types

of Fraud which are, Asset Misappropriation, Skimming and the Payment. Also he said that the

executive level is the attraction to the customer. And he shared about his experience in his work

before the pandemic or what is their lifestyle before pandemic. He also mention to us who issued

the fake ID’s. And he said we should aware of that person.

I agree with what Mr. Libunao said about our topic for today’s webinar. Because Fraud and

Risk Management is that more than ever companies are operating in a complex global business.

They are drowning in a sea of digital data, adapting to the perils of doing business in new

markets, struggling to comply with increased regulation and trying to avoid costly enforcement

action and litigation. That’s why I agreed to Mr. Libunao because his discussion is the same of

what I believe about Fraud and Risk Management.

I recommend that to conduct the Fraud and Risk Management you should monitor your

data, establish proactive communication with employees around fraud. Also, implement

company policies confidentially and nondisclosure, set up a whistleblower hotline and the

important is Hire the Right People. It is essential to hire the right people who will help your

business grow and reach it’s goal.

 WANDER AND WONDER: EXPLORING THE ECONOMY IN VIETNAM
DR. NGUYEN THI GAM

The resource speaker of our webinar is Dr. Nguyen Thi Gam. She shared to us their

Economy in Vietnam and how their Economy growth up to now. She said that Vietnam is one of

Southeast Asia’s standout economic performers. She also shared us the key Milestones of

Vietnam. From 1945-1954, she said that they are stepping up their production, building and

developing their resistance economy. And 2001 up to present, the period of the deep

international integration. She said that they are independent human. Also she shared their

economy before is very low and weak potential. But because of their hard work they are now

growth. The Vietnamese also suffered from the pandemic, but now they already have a face to

face study because they obey what they said to them.

I agree of what Dr. Nguyen Thi Gam said that they are independent human and also they

are obedient. Why? Because now they are back to normal life because they obey of what they do

or not to do during the pandemic. And also I believe of how their country grow from very poor

and weak to a good life. Vietnamese are very responsible to their work that’s why their country

has a big development.

These are the things that I recommend to help boost the tourism and the tourist of

Vietnam since she shared the tourist spot of Vietnam. First, Easy access of tourists to native and

exotic foods. Second, a Guide map for tourists of wonderful and historical sites of Vietnam.

Third, trustworthy cab drivers for good impressions. Fourth, 24/7 hotline for troubled tourists. I

have nothing to recommend about how they will do about their economy because they are very

good interms of that. How I wish that our country is like them.
 THINKING OUTSIDE THE CUBICLE: A SNIPPET TO CALL CENTER OPERATIONS
AND SHARED SERVICES

Our Resource Speaker for today’s Webinar is Ms. Jerelyn Catadman. And she is

graduated in Central Philippine University. Ms. Jerelyn talk about the things in a Call center

operation and some tips how to continue working in BPO Company. There are 3 types of

difference about call center operation. First is Call Center, it is a customer service where

employees of a company deal with the inquires, handle technical support or take sales, via the

telephone. Second is the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), and it’s a type of outsourcing

wherein a third-party service provider is employed to carry out one or more functions in a

company. And the last one is Shared Services, it is a delivery of model for the effective and

efficient delivery of non-core services to the business. Ms. Catadman also shared to us the

history of the Philippines’ BPO industry which began in earnest in the 1990s.

I agree on what she discussed to us because I have a friend who also experience working

in a BPO Company for a month and all she can say is that, working in that kind of field is quite

challenging. You have lesser free time and rest because of the different schedule that they’re

gave in you. And in BPO it’s not just you “click and click” but you should also use your skills

just to give the best services in your client.

Based on my friends experience, I conclude that if you want to be a call center agent, you

must be excellent communicators who have extensive knowledge of the company’s products and

services. They’re detail-oriented and adaptable, so that they can handle any type of customers,

and they find a way to turn any situation into a positive one. But in brighter side BPO is one of

the leading company that gives a higher salary.

 CATCHING UP WITH BSP: THE UPDATES WE NEED TO KNOW

Our guest speaker for Today's Webinar is Mr. Lowen Andrew Ligad. He shared to us about what

is the policy in making money and what are the meaning of each print in the Philippine money.

Mr. Ligad is working at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP). He said that printing a lot of

money is a bad policy. And also he shared us the technique if we have a plan to apply in the

banks the important things that we do is to “FLT” or Feel, Look and Tilt the money. Mr. Ligad

also said that, we must take good care of our money because if you caught up that you are

destroying the money, they will accused you.

I agree on what Mr. Ligad said that we should take good care of our money. Because

money allow the people to obtain what they need to live. And it’s good that people who are

destroying the money will go to prison. They don’t know what other people do to earn money to

live but other people destroy it. That’s why they deserve to get prison. I like the way when Mr.

Ligad explained us about money I have learned a lot today because of him.

I recommend that we should take care our money. Please if you see the kids destroyed it

tell them that it’s a wrong doing. It is good that while they are young they know the value of

money or what is the importance of money. And also don’t forget what Mr. Ligad said about the

technique to apply in the banks.

 BE FUTURE READY: AN ULTIMATE GUIDE TO SSS EMPLOYEE BENEFITS

The resource speaker of our webinar is Mr. Amiel Genova. He discussed us about SSS.

He said that getting SSS number or ID is important. Also Mr. Genova told to us that if you have

already on legal age or 18 years old you can get the SSS ID so that if you are starting to get a job

it is not difficult for you. He said that the earlier to contribute in SSS the better. Because the

earlier the bigger you will get when you retired. SSS is not only for the people who are employed

it is also can apply in SSS as long as you can contribute. In SSS they have a Sickness Benefit.

Daily cash allowance paid to a member for the number of days he/she is unable to work due to

work due to sickness or injury. Mr. Genova also said that we make sure we have SSS because

it’s for our future.

I agree to what Mr. Amiel Genova said that it is important that we get SSS ID and

contribute to it. Because it is a big help for our future. In SSS also you can loan for your

education. And that is good because it helps a lot to the student and also for the parents. He also

mentioned that if we want to apply in SSS we can now pass our resume and that is also good if

we worked there. Because my Aunt is a retired worker in SSS and the benefits when she worked

there is very nice. My Aunt said every 3 months they give 3sacks of rice to their employee’s and

in December they gave groceries.

I recommend, that if you have a time please get already the SSS number so that you

cannot hardly or conflict to your work because you already applied for it. And also if you have a

plan to have a beautiful future contribute earlier.

 GSIS: THE PARTNER IN SECURING SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PROSPECTIVE
GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES

Our guest speaker for today is Ms. Marciana Basa. She shared to us about GSIS. The

GSIS covers all government status, except for the members who are covered by separated

retirement law, Contractual employees who have no employee-employer relationship with their

agencies. Ms. Basa said that GSIS also have a life insurance. She said that you can have your

retirement when you are 60 years old and at least 15 years Total length of Service upon

retirement. She mentioned about the different types of a Loan and who can avail to that loan.

People who can avail to the Consolidated Loan is that, they have paid remitted at least 3

premium within the last 6 months prior to application, no pending Administrative Case and

Criminal Case and not Leave Without Pay. For the GSIS Financial Assistance Loan, people who

can avail to this are, permanent and elected officials, at least 3 years of PPP, not on Leave pf

Absence Without Pay (LWOP), no due Demandable loan with the GSIS and last is no arrears in

mandatory premium contribution.

I agree on what Ms. Basa said that GSIS is only for the government employees. Because

it is in the law. That’s why I agreed to her. And if you are working to the government as a

regular employee it is automatic that you are in to GSIS whether you like it or not. Because it is

stated in their law that GSIS is for government employee.

I would recommend to all GSIS member that if you have a little extra money you can

contribute to GSIS because a higher you contribute the bigger you will get in the future same

with SSS. GSIS is also a big help because of their benefits. That s why it is much better for you

to contribute to GSIS if you are a government employee.

 GSIS: THE PARTNER IN SECURING SOCIAL WELFARE FOR PROSPECTIVE

PAG-IBIG FUND: UNDERSTANDING EMPLOYEE’S BENEFITS AMIDST OF PANDEMIC

The speaker of our webinar is Mr. Chiongson. He shared us about the Employee’s

Benefit Amidst of Pandemic. He said that in Pag-IBIG membership is mandatory. And if you

have a work you can apply in Pag-IBIG and the monthly payment for ₱1000. Pag-IBIG is made

by Marcos and this is the only program that he made that until now is working. Pag-IBIG is

mandatory when you are employed. Its is automatically you are a member of Pag-IBIG program.

Also he explained us what is the meaning of MP2 Savings. MP2 Savings is only for Pag-IBIG

members. And the minimum savings here is ₱500. In Pag-IBIG, you can also loan about

have an affordable housing loan and this is for minimum-wage earners. Pag-IBIG also has a

loyalty cards. And it can use it in Shakeys, McDo and Bongbong’s pasalubong. The loyalty card

can use in Qualimed Hospital. And it’s good that Pag-IBIG has a loyalty card at least you can get

a discount.

I agree on what he discussed in our webinar. It was a great opportunity for us to have him

as a speaker because of him, we know that we can loan in educational loan. It’s a good program

because for the parent’s who are in short for paying their child’s tuition you can easily loan to it.

And because of him we know what are the policies in Pag-IBIG.

Therefore, I recommend to the students, especially those with part-time jobs, can register

with Pag-IBIG as long as they are at least 18 years old and can pay the monthly contribution .

Our Speaker is Mr. Danny Espinosa. He discussed to us about the law that DOLE have.

Like in Section 11 stated that, values the dignity of every human person and guarantees full

respect for human rights. It means that if ever the boss will take advantage to their employee you

can complaint it to DOLE so that he/she will remove from his/her work. I like how he explain to

us because it’s clear and understandable. And because of what he discusses I know that someday

if ever will happen to me in either of the law that he mentioned, I will directly go to DOLE to

report. And thanks to DOLE because of them the workers have their protection and welfare.

I agree on how he shared his knowledge to us. A few months from now I will apply and

work to a company and all that he discussed will remain it on my mind so that whatever

happened to me in the company I know what should ACT will I be going to report to DOLE.

Thanks to Mr. Espinosa because of him I learned a lot about DOLE.

Therefore, I must say to those who are afraid to report their officemates or bosses of what

their behavior is, please don’t let the bad habits worked for the company. Because all of us

should treated fair in worked. And the important is don't let the boss at work rude you.

Mr. Denusta is also graduated at Central Philippine University. When he graduate he

achieve the highest level which is sumacumlaude year 2007. He is now working in New York.

Mr. Denusta shared about the life of OFW. He said that if you are in abroad, the important is that

don’t be getting sick because, their hospital there is very expensive. Another reason’s why other

is working abroad because of family and peer pressure. And if you are in abroad there is more

opportunities waiting. He also said the countries that has an in demand workers. He mentioned

about Linked In. If you are graduating you can updated it. So that other company can see if

where you good at or can see your skills. Thanks to Mr. Denusta for sharing what is the struggle

of OFW that is why I salute all the OFW.

I agree to Mr. Denusta about what he shared to us about the life and also the opportunities

in abroad. We know that if you stay here at the Philippines you can’t save more money unlike in

abroad you can save a lot of money and you can help you family. If you ate working abroad there

is advantage and disadvantage. The advantage is you can save a lot and the disadvantage is that

you will far away to your family and your feeling homesick.

My recommendation is that, if you have a plan to work abroad you always remember to

take care of your self. Because no one will take care of you there. Salute to all OFW’s that are

struggling so that they can give a good life to their families.

In our webinar session, the speaker explain us about Tax and what is new or the update.

He said that CREATE provides much-needed relief for MSMEs, end investor uncertainty, and

strongly projects that the Philippines is “back in the game”. And also he said with CREATE, the

economy will adapt and grow as more quality jobs will be preserved or created, while having

little to no inflationary effect. CREATE will help mitigate the effects of the COVID-19

pandemic and improve the quality of lives of millions of Filipinos. talked about how Covid19

started and how to cope during this pandemic. Mr. Magcale mentioned about the Power and

authority of the Commissioner. He also said that the Tax Relief is under of CREATE. And he

question us about how to solve the Tax if we still remember the lessons when we get the subject

for tax. And that is good so that we will not forget how to compute the Tax. Mr. Magcale said

that others instead of money, they invest the property in corporation because if you invest

property no need the BIR for this.

I agree on how Mr. Magcale explains us about the update of Tax. And also I like it when

he gave us the problem to solve. And also I get an idea of what I invest someday if I have a

property, I will invest it so that there is no other requirements and it is much easier than investing

money.

I gain a lot of knowledge from our webinar. I recommend to all tax payer that I hope they

cannot forget to pay their taxes. Because it is important to pay Taxes. Also I learn many things

about taxation which help me in my life. I salute to all who always paying their tax.

Today’s Webinar is unique. We are glad that we have 2 guest speakers that will give us

more advices about Success in Overcoming Great Obstacles. In the summary of their topic, they

shared the true meaning of success. As for Dr. David said that honors is not important as long as

you are hardworking to achieve your goal. Also she said that success is not a race. And for Dr.

Gamilla, he said that if you have a low grade, don’t feel down instead make it motivation to do

better.

I agree with how they explain all those topics because base on someone that I have

known, before she is not good in her studies she said that she has no direction in her life. But

now she is a successful business woman she invest her money wisely. In short don’t lose hope. If

you feel that you have no direction in life, think it well if others can do then you can do it also.

I recommend that if you are late to your batches, like they are already graduate or have a

work and you don’t have, don’t be feel failure to your self. Remember that success is not a race

as what Dr. David said.

 TRIUMPH: THE ROAD TO SUCCESS

We are lucky because our speaker for todays webinar is the President of Central

Philippine University. Dr. Robles shared us his experience before he point to be the President of

CPU. His experience in life is very inspiring to us. Dr. Robles said that he took the board exam

for teaching. And someone called him that if he want to take up the advance study in abroad.

Then Dr. Robles decision is he want to go. That’s why he borrowed a money so that he can go to

USA. He finished his degree in 2 years. Dr. Robles wondering what to choose between, go back

to his alma matter to help, or to stay and proceed his life in USA. Then Dr. Robles chose to go

back to his alma matter to help. And that alma matter is Central Philippine University. Also Dr.

Robles shared an inspiring message to us that, "Sometimes you fail, sometimes you succeed. But

failure must not be discouragement, instead it is an inspiration for you to do better".

I agree to our President Robles for his inspiring message to us. Because it doesn’t mean

that you fail you are a looser. Instead make it a motivation to do it better. Success is about

experiences. It allow yourself to explore different options. Success is also a choice because it

determined the path your life will take. Lastly success is about learning. And always be open to

learn new things like you're more capable and flexible than what you think.

I recommend to all the interns that do not be feel discouraged if someone of your

classmates are already successful and your not. Because remember that God cannot give you a

problem if you cannot solved it. If others can do why you can’t? Remember that always. Success

is not a race. Time will come do not rush.

 In this pandemic, I have learned that it is hard to study online than in face to face.

Because in actual you can understand the lesson clearly while in online class, sometimes it is not

clear because of the internet connection. A lot of opportunities has cancel like Practicum. For

me, it’s better to Practicum in face to face because you are trained well than in webinar. In face

to face you can get an experience in work but in webinar all that we can do is paper works only

and for me it is hard. Online class has it’s advantages and disadvantages. The best part of this

online learning is, it is much more affordable compared to old-fashioned learning. In digital

classes, parents are free to buy uniforms or spend travelling expenses and can save extra money.

Due to this advantage of online education, economically weaker students can fulfill their dreams.

You should pay for university credits and save a lot of money with digital classes. For

disadvantages, it is lose concentration because without having proper care for students while

online classes by teachers they can easily lose focus on studies. Also, virtual classes can be done

through phone or laptop gadgets where students can easily move to games or videos or YouTube

for entertainment. This completely makes them go off track from subject studies.

For our webinar, I have learned a lot to our different speakers. Because they shared to us

the topics that we can relate and learned for our future someday. For our first speaker, Prof.

Canaman shared to us about statistical tools and research analysis data which we can use it in our

case study thanks to him because it is very useful. Rev. Jalandoon also shared the Core Values of

Central Philippine University. The Core Values is important not only to the student of the CPU

even if you are already graduate you can apply that always your mind. For Dr. Chin, shared to us

about Psychological Consequences of Covid 19 and this part is one of my best topic in our

webinar. Actually all of the topic to our webinar is the best but for me Mental Health Awareness

is very important nowadays. A lot of students got depress because of this pandemic. So thanks to
Dr. Chin for her advice of how we can handle our problems. I have learned to Prof. Bonete that

how to prepare the case study. It helps a lot for me especially here in Business Practicum.

Because of what she discussed it’s easy to us how to make or the first step to make a case study.

I can’t shared our topics one by one because it’s a lot of time to consume. But I can’t

forget what Dr. Robles shared to us how he start and how he became the President of Central

Philippine University. He inspired the students a lot. Because of him I am excited of what I

become in the future. But one thing I really know that Success is not a Race. Don’t rush because

I know we can get there in the right time.

Thank you to our speakers because of them I have learned a lot. And I can carried it until

I am old. All of there advices I will remember it and never forget.
