FUTURE PLANS OF THE COLLEGE

STRENGTHS OF THE COLLEGE
 RAK has a good library with a large collection of books.
 It offers a well maintained AV Aids lab.
 The MSc program in RAK creates good educators.
 The old syllabus creates good administrators too.
 Research and statistics are being taught in first year and practiced in second so that students get
a deep knowledge before the practical.

WEAKNESSES OF THE COLLEGE

Most of the senior faculty post in RAK is vacant thus overloading of work on existing staff.
 There is also no sub specialty in Medical surgical Nursing, leading to no scope of specialization in
a particular area of Medical Surgical Nursing -
 There is no hostel facility for the masters of nursing even though very needy students are
provided with the hostel which is not in proper condition.
 RAK still follows the old INC syllabus.

SUMMARY

So today I have discussed the critical analysis of MSc. Nursing programme of RAK College of
