1.1KV Al (Conductor)/ XLPE IS : 7098 (Part-I) : 1988, IS:8130-1984, IS:5831-1984, IS: 3975-1970, IS:10810-1984, IS:10418-1982
(Insulated)/ PVC (Inner & Conductors :
3.5c 70 360 For all types of Cable, aluminium conductor shall be H4 grade, stranded in construction with flexibility class 2, complying with the requirements as specified in IS-8130-1984 with latest amendments. The conductor shall be clean & reasonably uniform
Outer Sheath)/ AR
(Armoured) -A2XWY in size and shape and its surface shall be free from sharp edges.
3.5c 35 180 Insulation :
The Conductor shall be provided with XLPE insulation applied by extrusion. Inner sheath is used for multicore Cables. For multi core Cables, the laid up cores shall be provided with Inner Sheath applied by extrusion. It shall be ensured that it is as
1.1kv, Cu Cable circular as possible. Material of inner sheath should be PVC Type ST2 as per IS:5831-1984.
Armouring:
Armouring is used for multicore armoured cable. The armour wires/strips shall be applied as closely as practicable. A binder tape may be provided on the armour.
1.1KV Cu (Conductor)/ XLPE Outer Sheath :
(Insulated)/ PVC (Inner & The outer sheath shall be black & applied by extrusion. It shall be applied over the armoured multicore Cables.
4c 6 90 Material of outer sheath should be PVC Type ST2 as per IS:5831-1984
