10. Course overview:
This course with Math II -2nd semester provides an introduction to the basic concepts and
techniques of calculus and linear algebra, emphasising their inter-relationships and
applications to engineering. Topics covered are - Calculus: Functions of one variable,
differentiation and its applications, the definite integral, techniques of integration. Algebra:
Systems of linear equations, subspaces, matrices, optimisation, determinants, applications
of linear algebra.
11. Course objective:
In this course, we are going to
 Give students the fundamental of functions, differentiations and their applications.
 Teach students integration techniques

• Be in class on time, the student who come late to the class will be regarded absent.

The final exam will be a three-hour, written, closed-book examination. non-programmable
calculators will be permitted. The final exam will be scheduled by the university during the
