What do you think Meredith Perry's business model will look like, assuming Ubeam is

succesful in building a working prototype of a wireless charger? Complete a business model

Canvas for Beam and draw conclusions regarding the future of the business

Ans.

As the textbook defines the business model as a conceptual framework that will describe how a
company ca, delivery, and extract value. To build a business module we need to

follow four main parts. Those parts are offering, customer, Infrastructure, and financial viability

I will follow each of the parts to build what will be the best business module for Meredith Perry
wireless charge

Offerings Meredith's company will offer a new concept of technology by offering a

convenient wireless charging to charge any electronic device in any place at any time. Customer. The
target customer that Meredith's company will try to reach people who use

devices that need to be changed for example cell phones, electrical bikes, laptops and etc.

Infrastructure Meredith's company must build an innovator place and hire very talented

workers that are interested in new technological developments, so they can produce efficiently

and on a large scale to achieve the maximum total profit.

Financial viability: Meredith's company will need to study the product production to

define the variable and fixed cost, and then stipulate the price of the product

2
What specific customer value propositions (CVP) do you think Meredith Perry and her

company, Beam, are taking into account as they plan for the future?

Ans.

Customer value propositions CVP is an outline that describes what the company produces and sells
to the customer. The be effective the CVP will need some qualities. The first one is:

it must offer better value than the competition, as the Beam wireless charge will be a

revolutionary product, Meredith's company already have an advantage from its competitors. The

Second quality is it must be measurable in monetary terms, here u Beam infrastructure team will

need to find the best production process to ensure an affordable price for this product. The last

quality is it must be sustainable, if the company build a good quality wireless charger will be a

great sustainable and durable product

3
Assuming they succeed in producing a profitable wireless charger, what customer segments do

you think uBeam will eventually target?

ans.

As the Beam wireless charger uses new and innovative technology, I would segment this

product in the mass market because this will focus on a large group of customers that share

similar desires. As we are in the digital era, I believe that a huge part of the world population has

at least one device that will need to be charged once a day, basically, the target consumer for the

wireless charger will be any person that uses any type of product that will need to be recharged.

4
What additional related products and services might a company like uBeam consider

inventing, building, and selling if it succeeds with its wireless chargers?

Ans

As uBeam is a technological company they should stay on the same path, and thorough

research to develop products as a router that provides a better internet signal in long distances.

Another product that they should think about will use the same structure of the wireless charger,

but now instead of using energy as source power it could use solar light as energy to recharge

devices, and for last, as uBeam sells such unique product they should also provide repair services

as well.
