With the web-based utility, it is easily to configure and manage your gateway.

Default user name: admin

Default password: admin

There are two ways to open the built-in web of your gateway:

1. Connect your PC to the WiFi of your gateway and use 192.168.8.1 to open the built-in web
with the web browser.

2. Connect both your gateway and PC to a same router, and get the ip of the gateway in the
LAN. Use this ip to open the built-in web with the web browser. Here use 192.168.31.49 for
example.

2. Status bar
A status bar show some key current status of the hardware. Users could have a quick glimpse to
check status of the hardware of your gateway. Each parameters on the status bar have 3 status
with different color.

Blue bar means OK

Red bar means Error or Warning

Grey bar means hardware is absent

There are 10 parts total, which are External Power Supply, Internal Battery Supply, Solar Battery,
4G LTE, Ethernet, GPS, WiFi, Temperature, LoRa module 0 and LoRa module 1.

Below it is a example for “External Power”:

means a external power supply (AC/DC adapter or PoE injector) is

connected.

means a external power supply is removed or broken.

NOTE: For gateway devices that only support 8 channels, only LoRa module 0 is supported,
and LoRa module1 will be gray.

system time (the value in parentheses after the system time represents the time zone), system
running time, MAC address, local IP, firmware version, kernel version, hardware version and back
network information.

3.2 Server Configuration
With Server Configuration you could do:

1. Ambient Noise Scanning

The RHF2S308 gateway integrates a bottom noise scanning analysis engine. This function will
help customers find interference signals and noise in advance when deploying on site.
Please fill in the Start Frequency and Stop Frequency and click Start Scanning to start noise
scan. The default scanning band is 2MHz if you just input start frequency. Default step is
100kHz. The band you scan is bigger, the time is longer. Scanning band 2MHz or 5MHz which
could cover the target operation band of your gateway is strongly suggested.

When the noise floor scanning is completed, the configuration page will display the scanning
results in two forms: the noise floor average curve graph represents the average noise level
obtained at the frequency point during scanning, and the noise floor thermal distribution
graph represents the transient noise distribution.

2. Packet forwarder

Running Status: Not Running or Running

Gateway ID: fill in the gateway ID (please note that different servers will use different
gateway ID naming rules)
Server Address: fill in the target server address

Server Port: fill in the uplink port number and downlink port number of the target server
respectively
Global Configuration: select the frequency profile supported by the gateway. Different
models support different frequency plans. Please check the specification "[DS02125]
RHF2S308 Product Specification" before using the device to confirm the information

Click the "Start" button to start the program. If the device starts other LoRa-related services,
the system will close other LoRa services and start the program.

3. IoTSquare
IoTSquare (https://IoTSquare.xyz) is a program used to connect to the IoTSquare server.

Running Status: Not running, Running Bridge or Running

Gateway ID: fill in the gateway ID

MQTT Server: fill in the MQTT Server address

HTTP Server: fill in the HTTP Server address

Open/Close Pktfwd: used to choose to turn on/off Pktfwd, and it also indicates the current
Pktfwd status. If you turn off Pktfwd, LoRaWAN data cannot be forwarded.
If the "Open/Close Pktfwd" button is not lit, when the program is started, the running status
will be displayed as "Running Bridge"; if the "Open/Close Pktfwd" button is lit, the running
status will be displayed as "Running" means that both Bridge and Pktfwd are running. If the
device starts other LoRa-related services, the system will close other LoRa services and start
the program.
4. loraserver

Loraserver is used to configure a standard LoRaWAN server. Fill in the corresponding

configuration information and click the "Start" button to start the program.

3.3 Network Configuration
