RHF2S308 WEB User Manual-V1.0
RHF2S308 WEB User Manual-V1.0
1. Login
With the web-based utility, it is easily to configure and manage your gateway.
There are two ways to open the built-in web of your gateway:
1. Connect your PC to the WiFi of your gateway and use 192.168.8.1 to open the built-in web
with the web browser.
2. Connect both your gateway and PC to a same router, and get the ip of the gateway in the
LAN. Use this ip to open the built-in web with the web browser. Here use 192.168.31.49 for
example.
2. Status bar
A status bar show some key current status of the hardware. Users could have a quick glimpse to
check status of the hardware of your gateway. Each parameters on the status bar have 3 status
with different color.
There are 10 parts total, which are External Power Supply, Internal Battery Supply, Solar Battery,
4G LTE, Ethernet, GPS, WiFi, Temperature, LoRa module 0 and LoRa module 1.
connected.
NOTE: For gateway devices that only support 8 channels, only LoRa module 0 is supported,
and LoRa module1 will be gray.
3.2 Server Configuration
With Server Configuration you could do:
The RHF2S308 gateway integrates a bottom noise scanning analysis engine. This function will
help customers find interference signals and noise in advance when deploying on site.
Please fill in the Start Frequency and Stop Frequency and click Start Scanning to start noise
scan. The default scanning band is 2MHz if you just input start frequency. Default step is
100kHz. The band you scan is bigger, the time is longer. Scanning band 2MHz or 5MHz which
could cover the target operation band of your gateway is strongly suggested.
When the noise floor scanning is completed, the configuration page will display the scanning
results in two forms: the noise floor average curve graph represents the average noise level
obtained at the frequency point during scanning, and the noise floor thermal distribution
graph represents the transient noise distribution.
2. Packet forwarder
Server Port: fill in the uplink port number and downlink port number of the target server
respectively
Global Configuration: select the frequency profile supported by the gateway. Different
models support different frequency plans. Please check the specification "[DS02125]
RHF2S308 Product Specification" before using the device to confirm the information
Click the "Start" button to start the program. If the device starts other LoRa-related services,
the system will close other LoRa services and start the program.
3. IoTSquare
IoTSquare (https://IoTSquare.xyz) is a program used to connect to the IoTSquare server.
Open/Close Pktfwd: used to choose to turn on/off Pktfwd, and it also indicates the current
Pktfwd status. If you turn off Pktfwd, LoRaWAN data cannot be forwarded.
If the "Open/Close Pktfwd" button is not lit, when the program is started, the running status
will be displayed as "Running Bridge"; if the "Open/Close Pktfwd" button is lit, the running
status will be displayed as "Running" means that both Bridge and Pktfwd are running. If the
device starts other LoRa-related services, the system will close other LoRa services and start
the program.
4. loraserver
1. WIFI Configuration
WIFI Configuration is mainly for the network configuration of the WiFi of the gateway device.
You can modify the default ip address, SSID username, password and whether to hide the
SSID. If the hide SSID function is turned on, the device will be hidden and other devices will
not be able to search for the device.
2. IP Configuration
APN Configuration is used to query, add and delete the APN of the gateway LTE dialing. If the
sim card used by the user cannot dial normally, you can use this page to query or add the
APN corresponding to the sim card.
4. RSSH Operation
RSSH Operation is the port number for remote debugging of the management gateway.
When the user gateway needs remote assistance, you can enable the RSSH function and
send the port number to the company's technical support to log in to the gateway remotely.
Remember to turn off RSSH after debugging, after all, turning on the remote debugging
function will increase security risks.
5. Ping
Ping operation is used to detect whether the device can access the Internet normally, test
whether the gateway can directly connect to the gw.risinghf.com server, and users can also
customize their own server address. Enter the server address, click the "Ping" button, and
wait for a while to see the prompt message.
6. Traceroute
Traceroute operation is used to detect whether the device can access the Internet normally,
test the route through which the gateway connects to gw.risinghf.com, and users can also
customize their own server address. Enter the server address, click the "Traceroute" button,
and wait for a while to see the routing information you have passed.
7. Host
Host operation is used to detect whether the device can access the Internet normally, and to
test the DNS server used by the gateway. Users can customize their own server address.
Enter the server address, click the "Host" button, and wait for a while to see the prompt
message.
1. General Configuration
The current system time and time zone of the device are included in the General
configuration. Users can choose the time zone to change the system time according to their
needs.
1. System Log
System log records the log of the gateway kernel running, including the status information of
the kernel running, which can be used by the user to analyze the running status of the
gateway system.
2. LTE Log
LTE Log can be used to analyze the dial history of LTE 4G and analyze the disconnection. The
system records the current 4G signal quality every 30 minutes.
3. ETH Log
ETH Log records the connection status and disconnection history of the gateway and the
Ethernet.
Boot Time Log is mainly used to record the time when the gateway system is powered on
again. We can use the boot time log to determine whether the system is powered off or
restarted during operation.
5. LoRa/LoRaWAN Log
LoRa/LoRaWAN Log will only record abnormal events during LoRaWAN operation. If the
whole operation process is normal, the log will be empty.
6. Temperature Log
Temperature Log in the gateway mainly records the ambient temperature in the gateway
housing, and the temperature will be recorded at a frequency of once every 15 minutes. It
can be viewed by zooming.
Power Management Log records system power switch events and battery discharge logs.
With the help of this log, users can analyze problems such as abnormal reset or restart of the
device due to power failure.
4. Shortcut Button
A set of shortcut buttons are integrated in the upper right corner of the main page, including
shortcut keys for A key diagnostic, System restart, Back online, and Login Out.
2. Click OK to start the diagnosis, and the page displays the diagnosis progress bar.
3. After the diagnosis is complete, the page will display the diagnostic results. Note: Diagnostics
are complete, the system will automatically restart.
5. Chinese-English switching
There are Chinese-English switching buttons on the upper right corner of the login page and the
main page to facilitate switching between Chinese and English.
