Exemplary for the various configurations apart from that please follow the screen menu!

1.
Please adjust the IP address at your computer (for example 169.254.11.21)
More or less than the IP address of the controller
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Wire the computer with EF2

Open the Browser: „Input of address“ 169.254.11.22 (Standard IP of EF2)

Input of username „operator“ and password „100“

Pull down menu: „configuration“ → „new configuration“ → OK

Choose the correct type of indexer → Thermoclick wired yes(should be wired)
or no→ Brake „no“ for standard setting of the brake → additional motor
contactor „no“ for SIL2 and „yes“ for SIL3 → advanced settings for choosing
another power supply → tick the box of „confirm indexer configuration“ (field of
commend to follow soon).

If you want or if it is necessary you can write down some info regarding the
indexer or the machine. Tick the box of „confirm commend“. (I/O configuration
to follow soon) There will be another field for a commend after I/O configuration.

For measuring the real cycle time and time-out time of the indexer we need three cycles in one direction!
(running the indexer cw-ccw-cw-ccw-...we need three cycles in each direction)
The test run will be done in one direction only. If it is not possible to run the indexer twice(two cycles in one
direction) it will be not possible to do this test. Controller will use default setting of quick stop time.
Please follow the instructions of the EF2 software!
