• Layer 2 network entities: managed switches / wireless controllers:


- SNMP V2 (RO + RW)/V3 (Read + Write View) for switches.
- SNMP V2 (RO + RW)/V3 (Read + Write View) + SSH for WLC
- SNMP traps
• Layer 3 (Routers / Firewalls):
- SNMP RO / SSH
• Portnox Server:
- SW: Windows Server 2016/2012 fully patched
- Permanent LAN IP address
- RDP connection with an administrative user
- Language and Region settings: English
- HW: 8 CPU, 12 GB of RAM, HDD: 150GB
- Single server sizing: up to 500* network elements (layer2 and layer3) or 12K
ports or 15K devices

• MS Domain authentication:
- Domain User - local admin on Domain endpoints
• Printers:
- SNMP RO
• Linux / OS X machines:
- Remote connection enabled
- SSH
• Remote SQL:
- Local sysadmin user for installation process.
• Common ports
- WMI: 135 + RPC high ports
- Remote Registry: 139, 445 + RPC high ports
- SSH: 22
- SNMP: 161(UDP) – Get/Set, 162(UDP) – Traps
