The document contains a model exam for the subject "Theory of Partial Differential Equations" with 20 multiple choice questions in Part A and 5 numerical problems in Part B. Some of the questions ask students to classify and solve different types of partial differential equations, determine temperature distributions at steady state conditions, and find expressions for the transverse displacement of vibrating strings or plates. The problems cover concepts like wave equations, heat conduction, vibrating systems, and solving techniques for partial differential equations.
