Inflo Collaborate

Getting Started

Once your audit team have set up your Inflo engagement, you will receive an email inviting you to
activate your Inflo account. This will come from [email protected].

Click on the link within the email which will take you to the account activation page. Follow the on-
screen instructions on the account activation page. Once completed you will be taken to your Inflo
engagement.

Password Reset

If you have forgotten your Inflo password, navigate to www.inflosoftware.com and select “Login”.
Click the “I forgot my password” button and follow the on-screen instructions.

Dashboard

Upon logging in you will see the engagement overview dashboard, summarising all areas of your Inflo
engagement. This will default to the last engagement you worked on the last time you logged into
Inflo.

The top pane will show you the engagement type, your team members and the period-end and the
respective phase (planning, fieldwork, completion). Selecting the drop-down arrows next to the
period-end and phase will allow you navigate quickly between year-ends and phases.

The following three visualisations relate to the Inflo Collaborate module. If requests have not yet been
submitted by the engagement team, the dashboard will show “No Requests”.

Collaborate by Status

The first visualisation summarises requests by


status. Requests are categorised by Submitted,
In Progress, Received and Complete. Hovering
over each bar will show the number of requests
in the respective status.

Collaborate by Due Date

The next visualisation summarises PBC


(prepared-by-client) requests by due date.
Hovering over each bar will show the number of
requests in the respective status.

Collaborate by User

The Collaborate by User visualisation


summarises PBC requests by the
responsible team members. This can be
toggled to show the engagement team or
client team users. Hovering over each bar
will show the number of requests.

Ingest Progress

Ingest Progress is a summary of the data


ingestion process in the Inflo Ingest
module of the trial balances and general
ledger. You will see the status of each 8
steps of the data wizard so you can
quickly see the progress. Clicking into
any of the steps will bring you into the
wizard.

If you are not providing your financial information via Inflo, you may ignore this pane.

Module Selection

The Module Selection pane provides a shortcut navigation to each of our analytics modules.
Hovering over each icon will provide you a brief description of the module.

Recent Activity

The Recent Activity pane to the far right shows all recent activity for this engagement. You can select
the time period (Last 2 Days, Last 7 Days or Last 30 Days) from the drop down.

Selecting the tick icon next to ‘Include Full Portfolio’ will include recent activity from all the
organisations where you are a part of the client team.

To see a list of all organisations you are assigned to, select the icon in the top right, where you
will find each of the companies listed in the far left of the screen under Organisations. This will also
show you the Status field for each engagement and will provide you with a visual update of your tasks
under Planning, Fieldwork and Completion. Here you can Search and Favourite organisations as
necessary.

Selecting the blue cog icon in the top right of the dashboard will allow you to access the Detailed
List of Requests as shown below.

Detailed Request List

This pulls up the detail behind the PBC requests in the Inflo Collaborate module as seen below. From
here you can search for specific items using the magnifying glass or download to Excel using the cloud
icon. The requests are also hyperlinked and will bring you directly into the request in the Inflo
Collaborate module.

Inflo Collaborate – Managing Requests

When a request is submitted, the engagement team may choose to notify you by email. An example
of what this notification may look like is shown below and there will be a link within the email
notification that will take you into Inflo.

You can access the Inflo Collaborate module by clicking any of the bars in the
Collaborate graphs on the dashboard, or by selecting the Inflo Collaborate icon
under Module Selection.

When you are within the Collaborate module, you will see a landing page similar to the image below.
The top bar will show your organisation name and the respective Inflo phase. Below this you will see
the list of requests from your accounting firm by category.

The requests that need action from your team will be displayed on the left-hand side once the
engagement team have submitted these to you. The status, due date and responsible user of these
requests will feed into the graphs on the right-hand side of the page. Any actions taken on these
requests will populate the ‘feed’ pane on the right-hand side.

The progress bars along the top relate to the progress of requests within each phase of the
engagement in the Collaborate module, making this easier to track. To switch to a different phase,
simply click Planning/Fieldwork/Completion and this will open the Collaborate module for your
chosen phase.

Each of the 3 graphs are clickable and act as a filter to allow you to view certain requests dependent
on the information you are looking for.

The feed displays all Inflo Collaborate activity from both teams and is infinitely scrollable.

You can open the requests by either clicking on the text or the arrow button on the left-hand side.
Hovering over the ‘i’ button will show you the description of the request.

To the right, you will see the status (Submitted, Opened, Received, Complete), the due date, and the
responsible engagement team member and client team member. Clicking into these icons will allow
you to change the responsible client team member only, as the due date and engagement team
member are assigned by the engagement team.

Once inside a request, you can add comments and attach files as can be seen below.

Within the request you can see the details including description, due date and responsible team
members. You can add files and comments as necessary by using the green + icon. The feed displays
all activity within the specific request.

Once the information has been provided, click “Submit to Engagement Team” to send back to the
assigned engagement team member.

By selecting the blue cog icon within a request, you will be


given the following options:

Selecting the blue cog icon within a Submitted request will


also give you the option to recall the request.

Edit Details

This option allows you to change who is responsible for a specific request within your team and
decide whether to trigger an email notifying that person of the change.

Configuring Permissions

By default, all team members have access to all information requests. Access can be restricted to
certain team members, using the cog icon within a request click ‘Configure Permissions’ to see the
below screen.

A User Permissions screen will load up which will list the users from both the Engagement Team and
the Client Team. From this screen you can add or remove the permissions for users, once completed
you must then click Confirm.

Where permissions have been edited, an icon will appear to the right of the information request.

If a user does not have permission to view a request it will appear as show below.

Create a Request

You can create a task using the icon in the top right-hand side of each request category. This will
bring up the following screen.

Configure

Selecting the blue cog icon in the top right of the main Inflo Collaborate page will bring up the
following options:

Prior Year Files

If your engagement team has linked this engagement to a prior year engagement, you will be able to
search for files provided previously through Inflo.

Add Category

Selecting this allows you to create a new request category.

Create Request

This allows you to create a request, as previously shown.

Edit Planning/Fieldwork/Completion

This allows you to reassign the entire phase requests to a certain user on your team.

Recall Multiple Requests

Recall multiple requests gives you the opportunity to recall more than one request that may have
been submitted back to the engagement team in error.

Alongside this guide, further help can be found by using the FAQ section in Inflo. The menu icon in
the top right corner of the screen houses your account details, FAQs, and User List .

Furthermore, the green bell icon in the top right of the dashboard provides further support, as
necessary. You can access our support ticketing system, provide a suggestion to be considered for
further development, and select Learn More to view additional helpful content.
