a) Give the weather conditions at different times of the day.


b) Create a weather chart to record weather for a period of one week.
c) Develop cooperation as they create the weather chart

ORGANIZATION OF LEARNING

 Learners to be in groups of 5
 Activities to be carried out in class and outside the classroom

INTRODUCTION

Learners to report information gathered from parents/guardians on names of various weather


conditions in their local language.

LESSON DEVELOPMENT
 Tr to group the learners into groups of five
 Teacher to give the procedure of developing a weather
 Guide the groups to draw a chart with columns to represent parts of a day and rows
different days of the week.
 Guide the learners to develop a key of weather symbols and the weather conditions
they represent
 Guide learners to go outside and observe weather conditions
 Learners to record the weather conditions observed on the chart using the appropriate
symbols

CONCLUSION

 Learners to display their weather charts


 Give learners a project to continue recording weather conditions for the other days of
the week

EXTENDED ACTIVITY

Learners to find out how weather conditions affect their day to day lives

REFLECTION

Most learners were able to observe weather conditions.

A few learners were not able match the observed weather conditions with the correct weather
symbols
