- Definitely collecting cars, I mean real cars, not model cars. An expensive hobby all over
the world, not just my country. And of course this hobby is only for the rich person. But for
ordinary people like me, collecting toy cars is still a luxury hobby

always priority

mental health a lot, have to overcome it – indispensable part of achieving a goal.

 What is your favorite subject at school?

nice as well. All in all, it’s a great place to study.

Several bad habits, staying up late. because finish homework, favorite films ralease new
episode, even just a habit, can’t go to bed earlier. Not only make me feel tired next morning,
but also ruin energy and motivation.

Eating unhealthy food. Like many other young people, fast food, Processed foods, delicious
and give fantastic feeling immediately. However, has negative impact on health in long
period

 In what way do you try to stay healthy?

-Several ways keep fit and stay healthy.

put on remaining the habit of will be meaningless.
- Similarly, if only eat healthily, not do excercise, body can’t be strong, in shape

       -     How  can children learn to have a healthy lifestyle?

Several ways:
School and Ministry of Education should appreciate subject “PS” more, first: teacher help

mindset, familiar, keep habits until the end

12. Fashion/ Clothes:
Do you enjoy buying clothes?
I used to, like many young people, was a bit of slave to fashion, because wanted to
follow trends, have a eye-catching appearance.
Now I just buy must-have items like : T-shirt, a pair of  shoes, some jeans...
They must be suitable for my age : active, modestly dressed and comfortable.

What kind of clothes do you never wear?

I absolutely hate athleisure clothing. They say it’s supposed to be comfortable. I really don’t
know why they say that. I get all hot and sweaty in it. I’d rather just work out in a T-shirt and
shorts.

What type of clothes do you enjoy wearing?

Well, it depends.
When I go to school or, attend some formal party, I always try to look sharp. So that often
choose a shirt and trouser.
But, if I’m just hanging out with my friends, I have a particular liking for smart casual
clothes, especially T-shirts and black skirts.
It’s a perfect combination because it allows me to feel comfortable and classy at the same
time.

What kind of clothes do people in your country usually wear?

a tropical country, with different kinds of weather in each seasons, .
In summer, often wear thin and light-colored clothes --> avoid the heat,
On the other hand, in the winter, the weather is usually freezing cold--> a thick coat, a wool
scarf or a sweater become our common choices.

Do you think the brand of clothing is important

It’s up to each person, don’t care too much about brands , just buy what is suitable,
cheap
Famous brands are usually too expensive for me so I will rarely buy them. Often I can find
inexpensive brands with the same quality which are mostly off the peg.

Has your style of clothing changed compared to 10 years ago?

Definitely, a drastic evolution, A decade ago, was a kid – like wear dresses which
are beautiful, lovely, elegant. Mom used to buy many dresses like that for me, I used to think
I was a princess.
But now, I tend to wear casual clothes, hate dresses, just like T-shirt and jeans
It’s a perfect combination because it allows me to feel comfortable and classy at the same
time.

9. Have you ever worn a uniform?

Yes, absolutely. Wearing uniform is kind of the norm in my country. I had to wear uniforms
for 12 years from primary to high. Each school has their own style of uniform, we all wore a
white shirt in the summer and jacket in the winter, all classic and formal.
Honestly, liked wearing uniform, because I didn’t have to stand in front of the mirror,
worried about what to wear to school.

10.Do you think the clothes we wear say something about who we are?

Well, I believe that what we wear reflects our personalities and characteristics. If you
are a slave of fashion, you totally have tendency to buy must-have items because you want
to follow the latest fashion trend. You always get dressed up and take a pride in your
appearance when you go out. By contrast, if you prefer being simple you tend to choose
casual clothes which give you flexibility and comfort even at home or at work.

3. What’s your favourite color for clothes?

Answer 1: I’m more into black, white, and grey simply because they’re neutral colors which
means they work well with other colors. Besides, I lack fashion sense, so wearing clothes
with neutral colors saves me from making poor choices of color matching.
13.Transport
 What kinds of transport do you take to go to work/school?
=> I go to school by bus. A kind of Public transportation, which is very popular in my
country. Choose it because It’s not only convenient but also environmentally-friendly.
In addition, the price for a bus ticket is reasonable, suitable for students, save money.

 What will become the most popular means of transportation in your country?
In my opinion, cars will become the most popular form of transport in Vietnam
because of their convenience.
People don’t need to pay attention to the weather if they use cars which protect them
from the sunlight and rain.

 Do you prefer public transportation or private transportation?

=> I really pay attention to the environment so I have preference for public
transportation like bus. as I can play a part environmental protection.
Additionally, student, don’t have much money, public transport is a great choice to
save the money, cheaper than private one.

 Are there any transport problems in your city?
If you’re a foreign tourist first come to VN especially Hanoi, surprised by massive traffic
jam/ traffic congestion. Norm in Hanoi, happen daily in rush hours with long lines of
vehicles on the street. Not only waste time and money, but also effect badly to
environment by releasing/discharging air pollutants. (carbon dioxide)

/ˈviːəkl/

 How would we improve that problem?

 Personally, I think it’s a tough question. But i suppose, we should use public
transportation to ease traffic flow.  Moreover, I think more city should follow the
example of London and introduce a congestion charge in order to reduce traffic jams in
the city center. I also think that city authorities should create dedicated bus lanes and
cycle lanes to encourage people to take public transportation or to cycle in cities.

What are the differences about transportation in your country between the past and
now?
Transportation in my country has changed significantly over the past few years. In the past,
because of 2 wars, people almost used bicycles and motorbikes for transportation. However,
cars are very popular in Vietnam nowadays thanks to economic development. In the future, I
think most people will use cars every day.

What type of public transport can be found in your city?

Well, in my city, buses, motorbikes and taxi are the most popular means of public transport.
You know, recently a high-way train has been constructed in my city named “Cat linh-ha
dong”. It is the first time that this kind of transport appears in Vietnam.

14. Life in. The Country and city:

-Do you prefer living in the city or the countryside ?
Although was born and grew up in the country, have preference to live in the city in the
future. Because enjoy the hustle and bustle, city also give more opportunities to find a job,
interact with may kinds of peopel, develop skills.
On the other hand, my hometown, in the countryside, peaceful village, not an ideal place to
raise living condition. Get older, come back, to enjoy the old ages

-Is your hometown in the city or countryside? Do you like where you are living now ?
=>My hometown is in the countryside. It has the peaceful and quiet atmosphere. But now,
because of economic development, there are many rise-buildings day by day. I can’t deny
that my hometown has been becoming more and more polluted although not be too
serious. However, I spent my whole childhood here and I love it very much.

Would you like to live in the countryside in the future?

In young ages, don’t have intention of settling down in the countryside. Although peaceful,
unpolluted environment, quiet atmosphere, love most, not an ideal place to raise living
conditions.
However, get older, consider coming back to hometown, relax and enjoy old ages.

What kind of city do you want to live?

I’m in my prettiest age, still want to experienced new things, prefer the hustle and bustle of
the city
I’m not a picky person so I don’t really have any specific preferences. But if I have to
choose one, I guess my top pick would be places that are a bit vibrant or a little bit lively. I
love the feeling of hustling through crowds of people, the energy of metropolitan city.
That would be so crazy and fun.

 hustling (n) sự nhộn nhịp

 crowd of people (n) đám đông
 metropolitan city (n) khu đô thị

Which city do you want to go?

=> I’ve dreamt of travelling to Bangkok, Thailand. Witness how beautiful, special the
architecture(temple) is and explore the culture, taste various special dishes. Bangkok is
known as the nightlife city, it never sleeps, want to experience at the young age.
Another: love the people here, friendly, hospitably, that’s why hope can set food on
this city

 /hɑːˈspɪtəbli/

15. Festivals
 Do you like holidays? Why?
Well, I think I do love holiday time, because holidays mean you can take time off work,
and spend uninterrupted time with your family, which strengthens family bonds. Holidays
also mean new excitements and more time for traveling to places you have been looking
forward to, and experiencing new cuisines, new cultures and opening your perspectives.

What is your favorite festival? / What is the most popular festival in your country?

The Tet Holiday, which is similar to Christmas in Western countries, is probably the most
important
Of all festivals in Vietnam, I enjoy Lunar New Year the most.
It is celebrated in late January or early February to welcome the beginning of the new year.
Tet holiday is the time when friends, family gather together to give eo some wishes about
luck and fortune
Was a kid, enjoyed, receive lucky money, eat candies, big feast with variety of traditional
food
, consider among the happiest day of the yearlove it so much.

What do you do during the Tet Holiday?

On the Tet Holiday, we have about ten days off. I often visit my parents, friends, and
relatives. It’s a great time to relax and enjoy ourselves. But many people take the opportunity
to visit the places of interest in and outside Vietnam

How do you celebrate festivals in your country? / Can you tell me something about the
festivals in Vietnam?

With each different festival, we have different traditional customs to celebrate. For
example, during Tet, I will cook traditional Vietnamese dishes such as sticky rice, spring
rolls, etc., and
on Independence Day, I often go to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to watch the flag-raising
ceremony.
However, what all festivals have in common is that I always try to spend as much time as
possible with my family and close friends.

4.What do you do on holidays?

If the holiday is long, I usually consider visiting my family because I study away from home
and can't see them as often as I'd like to. But if the holiday is short, I will just catch up on my
sleep or hang out with friends.

5.  How do you celebrate Spring Festival?

Well, Tet is our most important Spring festival. On New Year’s Days, which usually last for
5 days, families often visit their friends, neighbors and relatives and wish them luck and
fortune for a new year. Children are most excited about Tet Holiday as they are given lucky
money and are allowed to eat as many sweets and treats as they want. The whole
family spend time together and enjoy a big feast with an ample variety of traditional food.

6.  What special food do you have for these festivals?

For Tet holiday, Vietnamese people often prepare a range of traditional food each meal. If
you ask anybody in Vietnam which food comes to their mind first when talking
about Tet, I’m sure that the answer is banh chung and banh tet. Both of
these banhs are iconic Tet food. And another classic dish is vietnamese sausage, or Gio
Cha. Gio cha’s fillings are lean meat sauced with fish sauce and pepper, and are packed
within green leaves so it could last for weeks.
Where did you go for your last holiday?
Well, last summer my family and I went for a holiday in Nha Trang, which is a coastal
city in the south of Vn. To me, travelling with family can be one of the most rewarding
adventures we can have together. I really love the moments when we had meals together, and
participated in different outdoor activities, like going sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling, or
trying different new cuisines and getting to know local customs there.

Do you think western festivals like Christmas are replacing traditional festivals in your
country?
I don’t think so. There is this common fear among the people that we’re forgetting our local
festivals in favor of foreign ones, but I still see us celebrating our own festivals with pomp
and splendor.

Which activities do you enjoy the most during the Tet Holiday ?
In Vietnam, it is customary for adults to give lucky money to the young ones during the
Lunar New Year, and I used to like receiving it.

How is the New Year in your country?

+ In my country, it’s called Lunar New Year. The atmosphere is crowded and bustling.
Especially before the New Year, everyone is very busy to prepare: cleaning the house,
shopping, buying peaches and kumquats....

Did you get any plans for Lunar New Year?

+ Yes, of course. I will go to shopping with friends, help parents clean and decorate the
house, visit grandparents and relatives, give lucky money to children.

What special food and activities do you have for these festivals?
As I said above, Vietnam has many different major festivals throughout the year with special
dishes and activities for each festival. If talking about the Mid-Autumn Festival, the five-
fruit tray and moon cake will be typical traditional dishes. On the other hand, during the
Cold Food Festival, many Vietnamese people like me often eat “banh troi” and “banh chay”
to celebrate.
Besides, the activities are also extremely diverse. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, we often
watch the lion dance and lantern procession together. But for the Cold Food Festival, making
“banh troi” and “banh chay” with the whole family is a regular activity of many families.
