REWARDS VERSES: also called being saved, gaining your lives, inheriting, abundant life, fully

qualified, reaping eternal life, attaining resurrection from dead, banquet invitee;
Some verses speak of loss of reward/inheritance, disqualification [in context, not loss of salvation]

mother or children or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit
eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first. Brother will hand over brother to
death, and a father his child. Children will rise against parents and have them put to death. And you
will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved!
Matthew 10:41 Whoever receives a prophet in the name of a prophet will receive a prophet’s reward. Whoever
receives a righteous person in the name of a righteous person will receive a righteous person’s
reward.

I Corinthians 3:8-10 The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward
according to his work. We are coworkers belonging to God. You are God’s field, God’s building.
According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master-builder I laid a foundation, but
someone else builds on it. And each one must be careful how he builds.
I Corinthians 4:5 So then, do not judge anything before the time. Wait until the Lord comes. He will bring to light
the hidden things of darkness and reveal the motives of hearts. Then each will receive recognition
from God.
I Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived!
The sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals .

I Corinthians 9:24-27 Do you not know that all the runners in a stadium compete, but only one receives the prize? So run
to win. Each competitor must exercise self-control in everything. They do it to receive a perishable
crown, but we an imperishable one. So I do not run uncertainly or box like one who hits only air.
Instead I subdue my body and make it my slave, so that after preaching to others I myself will not
be disqualified.

I Corinthians 11:31 But if we examined ourselves, we would not be judged.


I Corinthians 15:41-42, 50 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon and another glory of the stars, for star
differs from star in glory. It is the same with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is
perishable, what is raised is imperishable. v.50 Now this is what I am saying, brothers and sisters:
[a] Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the
imperishable.

II Corinthians 5:9-10 So then whether we are alive or away, we make it our ambition to please him. For we must all
appear before the judgment seat of Christ,so that each one may be paid back according to what he
has done while in the body, whether good or evil.
II Corinthians 13:9 For we rejoice whenever we are weak, but you are strong. And we pray for this: that you may
become fully qualified.
Galatians 4:7, 30 So you are no longer a slave but a son, and if you are a son, then you are also an heir through God.
v. 30 But what does the scripture say? “Throw out the slave woman and her son, for the son of
the slave woman will not share the inheritance with the son” of the free woman.
Galatians 5:21 Envying, murder, drunkenness, carousing, and similar things. I am warning you, as I had warned
you before: Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God!
Galatians 6:8 because the person who sows to his own flesh will reap corruption from the flesh,but the one who
sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.
Ephesians 1:11 In Christ we too have been claimed as God’s own possession, since we were predestined according
to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will
Ephesians 5:5 For you can be confident of this one thing: that no person who is immoral, impure, or greedy (such
a person is an idolater) has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
Ephesians 6:8 because you know that each person, whether slave or free, if he does something good, this will be

James 4:4 Adulterers, do you not know that friendship with the world means hostility toward God? So
whoever decides to be the world’s friend makes himself God’s enemy.
I Peter 1:4 that is, into an inheritance imperishable, undefiled, and unfading. It is reserved in heaven for you,
I Peter 3:7 husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as the weaker partners and show
them honor as fellow heirs of the grace of life. In this way nothing will hinder your prayers.
I Peter 5:1-4 So as your fellow elder and a witness of Christ’s sufferings and as one who shares in the glory that
will be revealed, I urge the elders among you: Give a shepherd’s care to God’s flock among you,
exercising oversight not merely as a duty but willingly under God’s direction, not for shameful
profit but eagerly. And do not lord it over those entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock.
Then when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that never fades away.
I Peter 5:6 In the same way, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. And all of you, clothe yourselves
with humility toward one another, because God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand
I John 2:28 And now, little children, remain in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not
shrink away from him in shame when he comes back
II John 7-8 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, people who do not confess Jesus as Christ
coming in the flesh. This person is the deceiver and the antichrist! Watch out, so that you do not
lose the things we have worked for, but receive a full reward.
Revelation 2:10 Do not be afraid of the things you are about to suffer. The devil is about to have some of you
thrown into prison so you may be tested, and you will experience suffering for ten days. Remain
faithful even to the point of death, and I will give you the crown that is life itself
Revelation 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have so that no one can take away your crown.
Revelation 19:9 Then the angel said to me, “Write the following: Blessed are those who are invited to the banquet
at the wedding celebration of the Lamb!” He also said to me, “These are the true words of God.”
Revelation 21:7 The one who conquers will inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son.
Revelation 22:12 (Look ! I am coming soon,
and my reward is with me to pay each one according to what he has done!
