Guide about how to deploy ONT service

LOGIN TO ONT

1. Login to ONT WEB BROWSER 192.168.100.1.

User: telecomadmin
Password: admintelecom

Upgrade ONT through ONT Web(1)

1. Make PC connected ONT LAN port, and login ONT Web.


2. Click “Browse” button to select R16C10SPC138 version file”
HG8245HV300R016C10SPC138_common_all.bin”, and then click “Upgrade” to start
upgrade

Upgrade ONT through ONT Web(2)

3. The upgrade will take a few minutes, and wait please.

4. After upgrade finish, please click “Restart” to reset ONT. And the ONT will restart
using the new version.

Input LOID through ONT Web of R16C10SPC138

1. Input LOID through ONT Web. After ONT is authenticated on OLT successfully, the
upper business configuration system will trigger to deploy ONT service.
2. Please test and check whether the services client applies are normal, for example
check and confirm with customer whether the Internet, VoIP, or IPTV is normal .

Suggestions on Wi-Fi ONT Configuration
Basic parameter configuration:

Broadcast SSID: Selected


Enable WMM: Selected
Authentication Mode: WPA/WPA2 PreShareKey
Encryption Mode: TKIP&AES
The configuration is recommended to use the default value, consistent with the screenshot
Suggestions on Wi-Fi ONT Configuration
Advanced parameter configuration:

TX Power: 100%
Regulatory Domain: Honduras
Channel: Automatic
Channel Width: 20 MHz
Other Parameters: Use Default
Change Multicast-vlan on the ONT

- ont WAN configuration enter WAN4 “IPTV_B_VID_400”


- On Multicast VLAN ID option change the multicast vlan according to the OLT multicast vlan
- Select apply.
Change Inner-vlan on service port.
- Connect to the OLT via CLI.
- Check ONT frame/slot/port onuid service port
- Undo service port
- Create service port using new inne-vlan

adjust the 2 ONT antennas to the horizontal direction.

the other one to the vertical direction, as shown in the floor figure.
