Mounting
The Vögele Converter Kit is designed for
permanent mounting, and is resistant
to corrosive substances and the tough
environmental conditions on a paver.

The adaptor boxes should be placed

where it is practical to reach while con-
necting the Mini-Line® Grade and Slope
Control System, and where the cables
are protected from clamping.

The adaptor boxes feature labels indi-

cating which side (LEFT or RIGHT) of
the screed they should be mounted in.
Before mounting, the operator must en-
sure that the adaptor box with LEFT la- Mounting Holes
bel is mounted in the left side and vice
versa.

If mounted on the screed, protection

against overextension and dragging is
also needed.

Setting the Reception of the Standby Signal

When a Vögele asphalt paver is in standby Factory default setting
mode, the paver sends a signal to the lev-
elling equipment to deactivate regulation.
The Vögele Converter Kit facilitates the
reception of this signal in the Mini-Line®
Grade and Slope Control System.

Normally, it is not necessary to change the

setting for how the Vögele Converter Kit
receives the standby signal as the factory
setting should suit most Vögele pavers.
Option 2
The default setting of the Vögele Convert-
er Kit enables the regulation from the Mi-
ni-Line® Grade and Slope Control System,
when the standby input is pulled high,
and deactivates the regulation when the
standby input is left floating.

If the paver uses a high output to deacti-

vate the regulation, then change the set- Figure 1 - Changing Settings
