BIOS IC is divided into 3 types

1. TSOP 32 Pin BIOS IC [Desktop]or 40 Pin BIOS IC [Laptop]


2. PSLCCC 32 Pin BIOS IC
3. 8 Pin DIP BIOS IC
4. 8 Pin SOP BIOS IC

BIOS Program Sizes: 64KB, 128KB, 256KB, 512KB, 1MB, 2MB, 4MB, 8MB, 16MB
Problems:
1. No Power
2. No Display
3. Automatic Shutdown
4. Automatic Restart
5. Automatic Hanging
6. Bluescreen Error
7. All USB Ports are networking at a time

BIOS Program Extension:


.bio, .rom, .bin, .bss, .fd, .wph

How to download or save BIOS Programs:

Method 1: By using 3rd party software [BIOS Backup Tool Kit Software]

Method 2: By using internet from company website [like Dell, Lenova, any other
Laptop Model --> BIOS Program]

Method 3: By using BIOS Flashing Machine Software from internet as per flashing
machine model
click smart identity [to check IC Good or not IC info shows]
to take backup --> press read --> save as
if we want to erase --> press erase
which program load --> click open & select program in that location
click on write --> successfully completed

Procedure:
 Check BIOS IC are working or not by using smart identify option
 Read the program from IC by using read option [backup]
 Erase the program from IC by using erase option
 Open the program from working system location using open option
 Write the program into IC by using write option
