Lab 01 – Installing TAFJ Runtime

1. Download TAFJ Runtime from Temenos,


2. Once delivered, extract the file
3. Check JAVA_HOME
a. Open command prompt
echo %JAVA_HOME%
4. If JAVA_HOME is not showing, set your environment variable
a. Right click on “my computer”, then “properties”
b. Click “Advanced system settings”
c. On System Properties Advanced tab – click “Environment Variables
d. Set JAVA_HOME here
e. Edit your PATH variable and add or append
%JAVA_HOME%/bin
f. Save and exit
g. Check JAVA_HOME on your command prompt
5. Create directory that will be used for TAFJ_HOME

6. C:\R17IBS\TAFJ
7. Go to your TAFJ Delivered pack
8. Extract the file
9. You should get these files
10. Go to command prompt and navigate to your executable files

11. Execute Setup_TAFJ.Rxx.SPxx.x.bat


12. Press Enter

13. Once you press Enter, Install directory is required, where you install your TAF runtime. This
directory will be your TAFJ_HOME
Copied the directory path and paste it here – “C:\R17IBS\TAFJ”
14. Press Enter

15. Then it starts to create different directories under TAFJ_HOME. Press Enter again
16. Enter ‘y’ to create
17. It extracts the TAFJ file
18. Press Enter to terminate
