5 A RESOLUTION INDICATING THE SUPPORT OF THE CITY GOVERNMENT


6 TO THE MULTIPLIER FARM PROJECT AND TO PROVIDE NEEDED
7 FINANCIAL COUNTERPART TO SUSTAIN THE OPERATION OF THE PROJECT

10 WHEREAS, presented before the Honorable Sangguniang Panlungsod (SP) Body introduced with
11the letter of indorsement dated August, 17, 2017 of the office of the City Mayor, is the Memorandum of
12Agreement between the City Government of Butuan represented by CITY MAYOR, HON. RONNIE
13VICENTE C. LAGNADA and Department of Agriculture – represented by its Regional Executive Director
14MR. ABEL JAMES I. MONTEAGUDO, for the implementation of Genetic Improvement Program (GIP)
15which supports the sustainable Livestock and Poultry Multiplier Farm;

17 WHEREAS, under section 1 of the subject MOA stipulates the provision of Two (2) Beehive
18Colony, the Goat Multiplier Farm with perimeter fence, housing and Eleven (11) head Goat (1 head buck
19& 10 head doe) as breeder stocks to the Butuan City Agriculture Office; Twenty-Two (22) head Cattle (2
20head bull & 20 head heifer), and Twenty-Two (22) head Carabao (2 head carabull & 20 caraheif) to the
21City Veterinary Office as breeder stocks to the Registered Indigenous People in Butuan City, Agusan del
22Norte in support to Multiplier Farm Project;

23 WHEREAS, the City Government of Butuan supports the Multiplier Farm Project and commits to
24provide needed financial counterpart to sustain the operation of the project;

26 NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of _______________________, duly seconded by

29 RESOLVED, to support the implementation of Multiplier Farm Project and provide needed
30financial counterpart to sustain its operation.

32 RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish copies of this Resolution for the Offices of the City Mayor, the
33City Administrator, the City Legal Officer, and the City Agriculturist, and the Department of Agriculture –
34Caraga Region, with office address at Capitol Site, this City, for information and appropriate actions.

68 RESOLVED, to authorize the City Mayor RONNIE VICENTE C. LAGNADA to enter into and approve
69in behalf of the City Government of Butuan, the Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of
70Agriculture – Caraga (DA-CARAGA) for the provision of Two (2) Beehive Colony, the Goat Multiplier Farm
71with perimeter fence, housing and Eleven (11) head Goat (1 head buck & 10 head doe) as breeder stocks
72to the Butuan City Agriculture Office; Twenty-Two (22) head Cattle (2 head bull & 20 head heifer), and
73Twenty-Two (22) head Carabao (2 head carabull & 20 caraheif) to the City Veterinary Office as breeder
74stocks to the Registered Indigenous People in Butuan City, Agusan del Norte in support to Multiplier
