Note: Those who can submit their output until 11:00 am today shall automatically receive 5
points in the class performance
Part 1.
Direction: Try to know more about yourself by answering the following questions.
1. Aside from your name, course, age, address, physical attributes and interest. How would
you characterize yourself?
Aside from the said ways of introducing our self, I can characterize myself by staying upbeat
and positive. I would either make a creative way of introducing or characterizing myself through
music, poem or a short story telling.
Also, by believing in myself, because trusting ourselves gives us more confident on doing
something we want. I have faced a lot of difficulties in life and yet I still see myself standing and
facing all my fears and problems in a positive way. I also know that I am a simple person. I get
to appreciate every bit of everything. Small things can make me happy and I do not really need
expensive things to make me happy.
2. Reflecting on your younger years, how did yourself develop? What external factors or
personal decisions made the biggest impact?
I could say that from my younger years I have develop myself well enough. My past
experiences have molded me of who I am today. Much bolder, stronger, wiser and passionate.
From all the pain that I went through, I see how much powerful I’ve become. I am once a
sensitive girl but now I am a fighter lady who is willing to take any challenge that the world may
bring. I do believe that we should trust every process and we need to work on that thing. For me,
the external factor that made such a big impact in me is our “environment”. All the people who’s
in our environment. My environment has taught me that not everyone surrounding us is
trustworthy, some of them will criticize our skills and ability and in that thing I have become
selective and more passionate to do everything that I want and makes me happy. Our
environment will give us many kind of factors that will bring us down, many kinds and type of
wellbeing, it is just really up to us how can we handle it.

3. How is your “self” related to others, and what makes it different from others?
So just like everyone else I do have dreams. Dreams that I really want to make work on it,
and willing to offer my own blood and soul to be able to accomplish it. For me what makes me
different from others is that, when the world tries to knock me down, I am becoming stronger
and more passionate to finish it. I am becoming more determined to overcome every obstacle
that blocks my way in my dream.
4. What do you think is the connection of your “Self” to your physical body?
This is my opinion in this question, even a dead person has a body, but he cannot think, act
or react. These abilities come from our self, which therefore uses the body. So, it has one-way
connection to it. Also, of course we are connected to our mind, heart, spirit, emotions, and other
connecting ligaments. When we get deeper in this question, we will have this, every feeling we
may have inside is translated and mirrored in our actions.
This is only my own perception, I don’t believe in that, or in what we all know
“reincarnation” or life after death. Because for me, people who believe in that afterlife is the one
who don’t like the idea of dying. I do believe more in presence, the presence of us when we are
still living. What impact of us or what kind of human being we are when we are still living. The
good deeds, love and care we showered to all the people is somehow will stay still after we all
die.
Part 2. ANALYSIS
Examine your and summarize your answer in part I through filling in the following;
1. Based on your answers, how do you view your personal “self” (internal) and its
connection to others (external)?
I am what I am. When I have to say something about, I will tell directly and no sugar
coating. Why? Because in this time I believe that we only need is “honesty” even though we get
hurt we need to know the truth, and that maybe is my connection to others. Like just everyone
else I don’t want someone who is pretentious. That is why all my answers above reflects who I
am as a person or what do I believe in as a human being. Also, I am this person who will choose
happiness over hatred and negativity. There are many people who choose to waste their time in

2. Based on your answers, how do you view the development of the self?
a. The self in our younger years (form Infancy to teenage years)
___________________________________________________________________
____From crying baby to a very much passionate human being, and yes that is me.
Through a lot of the feeling of being neglected I have become an independent
woman. Independent that in a way that I can handle, or I can cope up in any
challenges by mt own. But one thing is still I am dependent with, and it is with God
and his love for us.
___________________________________________________________________
b. The Self during childhood 20 years old and above
During this time, I can say that there are many changes not just physically but also
mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I do love who I am today, and I love how God guided me
throughout my journey to be on this stage of my life. I could say that as I live my life today, I
am enjoying it with full responsibility.
Well as I mentioned earlier, I don’t believe in life after death, but I do believe in
presence of someone after death. The presence of how significant I am as a person and the
memories I made, those happy and sad memories of me. I know after death; our loved ones will
keep us in their heart and mind. Our past deeds will be always stay with those people who truly
love us.
