What I know about What I want to know What I have learned

grammar about grammar
Grammar plays a vital I want to know about the In this module, I learned
role in the language. It rules and the principles as that grammar is the system
involves the structure of well as how to use to have a of a language that allows
words or utterances as well perfect grammar. people to produce and
as phrases that form a large understand the utterances
unit. In such a way, it is the that enable us to
composition of language communicate with. The
that creates meaning. language has components
(phonology, morphology,
syntax, semantics,
pragmatics) to form and
interpret meanings that are
used by speakers. There is a
need to teach grammar to
ensure proficiency so that
learners must have
developed the standard of a
language as well as to
discern how the grammar
alters their capability to
communicate effectively in
any circumstances. Hence,
grammar is the foundation
that helps us to understand
in order to have
communicative competence.
ASSESSMENT

Grammar is not just about linguistic shackles and guidelines; it's about how
creativity reveals itself in language. Grammar is the process by which we organize our words
and phrases in order to interact with others and express ourselves. Having grammatical
knowledge, you know what is feasible in English; you know how to talk and write in many
contexts to get the task completed. You understand when and how to push the boundaries of
words.

To avoid misunderstandings, it is imperative to apply good grammar whether

speaking or writing. It also makes it easier for others to comprehend you. Grammar is indeed
the systemic underpinning of our ability to communicate. The more we understand how
language works, the better we can assess the meaning and efficacy of how we and others use
language. It can aid in the development of accuracy, the detection of ambiguity, and the
utilization of the variety of expressions accessible in English.

Based on the graphic organizer there are several grounds for emphasizing grammar in
second language teaching. The sentence-machine arguments, the fine-tuning argument,
fossilisation argument, advance-organiser argument, discrete item argument, rule-of-law
argument, and learner expectations argument. The reason for teaching grammar in schools is
that those arguments are somewhat beneficial in teaching grammar using situations that will
assist learners in efficiently perceiving language structures. Learners will be able to grasp the
language more effectively if they are exposed to grammatical structures in context. Teaching
grammar in detail will aid students in learning new grammar structures and forms.

We restrict creativity and limit opportunities for many students when we do not
educate grammar. We let them rely on what they intuitively do about language, and as a
result, they just write as they talk. All individual has the right to use language with motives
and impact, for any purpose and under all conditions. Furthermore, their ability to do so is
what students are evaluated on throughout the day at school, therefore if instructors do not
teach what the school is evaluating, we are neglectful. Imagine grammar has been inadequate
from schools – and most teacher education institutions – for years, many more of today's
instructors have really no fundamental grasp of grammar as well as no clue how to teach it
effectively.
In doing so, grammar must be understood by educators. Every learner should have to
be taught how to use language successfully. They must understand the power of language and
how to modify it for certain purposes and circumstances. Appropriate grammar improves
cognitive abilities and supports rational reasoning. It broadens our vocabulary. Countless
people know and understand grammar enhances the effectiveness of our abilities. Hence,
grammar isn't just about having tight arches, using little frames, or composing with pens and
pencils. It is about educating learners to generate ideas. It's more about being able to
coordinate words, phrases, and sentences in order to maximize communication power.
REFLECTION

I learned that mastering appropriate grammar is crucial since it is the language

that allows us to successfully discuss language. Grammar refers to the words and word
groupings that comprise sentences in practically every language. Language is present in every
part of our lives. Language obviously plays a crucial part in the formation of a person's
personality, because communication is what drives our lives and helps us grow. Grammar is
required for language to function. This would absolutely not make sense—grammar is
required for good communication.

I realized that there is a need to teach grammar because teaching grammar through
circumstances will aid students in an efficient manner in grasping language forms. Learners
are expected to absorb the language effectively if they have been subjected to grammatical
constructions in contexts. Teaching grammar in a specific situation will assist learners in
developing new grammatical structures and forms.

It is significant to understand grammar when teaching. As a future educator, I will

give my hundred percent knowledge when it comes to teaching grammar in preparation for
the learners will comprehend the use of language effectively. This will help them to express
themselves of what they are trying to convey. Utilizing this implication enables students to
become effective writers and speakers if they’d grasp it easily. Therefore, knowing its
principles or components of grammar allows us to communicate effectively as well as to
establish connections with others.
