Netherlands Leprosy Relief (NLR) is an international organization

headquartered in Netherlands. Health aspects are the main issue of NLR,

especially in terms of prevention and control of leprosy disease and

The Inclusion and Disability Program began to be developed in early 2001


in order to address challenges above. As a project manager of Disability
I have more than 15 years Inclusive Development project, I have main objective to bring back the life
experience working with local of persons affected by leprosy in the community without experiencing
stigma and discrimination. In the other side I have to educating community
and international organizations
and local government, and encourage to be more inclusive. NLR work
and have field and desk through partners. This partnership began by increasing the capacity of
partners, both in terms of organizational management and program
experiences and skills such as:

Handicap International Federation by this time runs programmes under its


operating name, Humanity & Inclusion. It is an independent international
aid organization working in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict and
disaster. Working alongside persons with disabilities and other vulnerable
groups in 60 countries, our action and testimony are focused on
responding to their essential needs, improving their living conditions and
promoting respect for their dignity and their fundamental rights.

in Indonesia, HI developed a project "Advocating for Change" which


targeted the capacity building of persons with disabilities to be able to
voice their rights and interests through group organizing. in this project, HI
collaborated with Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Justice (AIPJ) to
conduct a series of activities at NTB and NTT, and as deputy project
manager, my role is to Supervise of implementation Access for Justice
Project with value of 820.000.000 IDR. Strengthen network between DPOs-
NGOs-CSOs and Policy makers within the targeted areas. Monitoring all
partners in implementing the project activities.

Site Manager of Community Based Rehabilitation Programme, KARITAS
INDONESIA

After the earthquake in Yogyakarta and Central Java in 2006, Caritas


Internationalist identified the long-term needs of disasters survivors,
especially those with spinal cord injury. Caritas Indonesia is a social
institution under the coordination of the Catholic church which is expected
to be able to meet the needs of the target group to the lower levels. Caritas
Indonesia develops the concept of empowerment through the
implementation of a community-based rehabilitation strategy that is the
best practice in rehabilitation.

As a Site Manager, Supervise and mentor 12 project staffs in Yogyakarta to


Implementing CBR project with value of 210,000 euro for 5 years. In our
work, we collaborate with every stakeholder in providing Assistive devices
to build independence mobility, Improving economic aspect for persons
with disability and their family members, and encourage DPOs on
advocacy. We also support DPOs in building partnership and network with
local NGOs, government and other civil society organizations.
