Trail SAP CPI Tenant Account setup

Step:1 open https://www.sap.com and click the Log On icon in the upper-right corner.

If you have an account on www.sap.com  you can enter it or the associated email along with your
password.

If you don’t have an account yet, click Register to create an account.


after successfully Submitted, You will get email to that an activation link has been sent to you.

Check your emails to find the activation button Click to activate your account.
Step:2 After activation, go to the SAP Cloud Platform Trial  page and give registered email and
password then click Log On.

You will see an dialog to confirm the terms and condition for the SAP Cloud Platform Developer Edition.
Check the check boxes and click Accept. This simply adds the SAP.com registration to your login account
on SAP Cloud Identity. There is no cost associated with this upgrade.
You will see a message that you need to verify your account with a phone number. Click Verify your
phone number to trigger that flow.

Enter your phone number and click New Code to retrieve a code. Please enter this code as well and
click Continue to verify your account. After the verification, you will be logged off automatically.

Click on Log on to log on to your verified account


you can now create a subaccount which lives in a geographic region. Choose one of regions from this
list. We suggest the Europe (Frankfurt) region because it has the largest list of services.

you will then see a dialog box while the account is set up. When complete, the dialog box will look like
this. Click Continue to close to popup.
Step:3 If this is your first time accessing the trial account, the cockpit will create a new trial account for
you. Please wait for the process to complete and then click on Enter your Trial Account again.

You see a subaccount with name trial already created. Select this subaccount.


In your subaccount, select Subscriptions > Process Integration.

Select the Subscribe button.
Wait for the process to complete. You will see the status change to  Subscribed in green.

In the breadcrumbs, select your subaccount to navigate to the subaccount level


Select Role Collections > New Role Collection.
In the Name field, enter Tenant_Administrator and choose Save. Select the newly
created Tenant_Administrator role collection.

Choose Add Role. In the Role Template dropdown list, select AuthGroup_Administrator and


click on Save.

 IMPORTANT: If you have multiple application identifiers, choose the application identifier that
starts with ‘it’.

Using the same procedure from the previous step,


add AuthGroup_BusinessExpert and AuthGroup_IntegrationDeveloper role templates to the role
collection.

Select your subaccount name to navigate to your subaccount level. Select  Trust Configuration.
Select the default identity provider, SAP ID Service

In the E-Mail Address field, enter your email ID and select Show Assignments. Since your user is
not a part of the SAP ID Service, you get a prompt asking for the user to be added to SAP ID Service.
Choose Add User.
Select Show Assignments > Assign Role Collection. In the Assign Role Collection prompt,
choose Tenant_Administrator from the dropdown list and select Assign Role Collection.

Launch SAP Cloud Platform Integration provisioning application by choosing <subaccount-


name> > Subscriptions > Go to Application in the Process Integration tile.
Login to the provisioning application by providing the same email ID and password that you used for
creating the trial account. Choose Log On.

This is the URL for your SAP Cloud Platform Integration tenant.
