1. Walk me through the Axiom launchpad.

of the homepage where you can access a lot of information for different actions you
might want to take. It looks like a rocketship, and with it comes other buttons like

2. What are the major CRM records in VX?

3. Add a new person and household – give the person the role of Parent.

Hi,

Hope you’re doing great! Here’s how you can add a new person and a household;
● Scroll down to the Main homepage
● Click on Add Person Query
● From the next screen, type in the first and last name of the person and input
other details as needed
● Click Household, search or create one as needed and click add person
● Click on Role from the left, select Parent

4. What is the person ID field? Is it unique to every record?

The person ID field is automatically generated or assigned when a record is created, it


is unique in every record.

5. Walk me through the query design process.

We may want to start in the Main homepage and click on Find People, next screen will
show up 3 columns, the leftmost part is for the fields you want to select and will show up
on the middle column where you can show or hide field/s you don’t need, you can even
sort them as well. The right side of the column will let us select an operator and criteria
for the specific field we selected. Run the query to see the results, and that is how the
basic query design works.

6. What is a workspace? How would you add a sub workspace to your personal
workspace?

Workspace is located on the top-right corner of the screen and looks like a four-box
icon. It is used for saving queries, records, or bookmarks. To add a sub-workspace to
your personal workspace, go to workspaces, from shared workspace click the plus sign
at the top right corner of the screen and select move workspace, select the workspace
you want to move, and click on Move Workspace.

7. Show me how to find all students that have an Email 1 OR Email 2 field
populated.
Hi,

Thanks for reaching out. From the find students query, add Email 1 and Email 2. Select
Email 1 and select operator to Is Not Blank same goes to Email 2. Go to style tab of
Email 1, select conjunction and select start as (, Go to Email 2, Select Or on
Conjunction and select ) for End then run query.

8. Show me how to copy all of the person ID's in this query.

From the Results Query, select all the records you want to copy then press CTRL +
SHIFT + C from your keyboard on windows, CTRL + COMMAND + C on Mac.

9. How would I export a query to Excel?

From the Results Query, click on the lightning bolt and scroll down until you see Export
to Excel link.

10. Show me how to find all households in Texas using the map visualization.

You may go to click on the launchpad, go to Main homepage, select find household. On
the middle column of the screen, Select Query tab, click on the Map button and from the
right column on Visualization Configuration select Household ID on the first drop-down
box and Addressee on the Longitude drop-down box. Run the query.

11. Explain the difference between person role and security role.

Person roles are generated by relationships calculated by the system. Security Roles
are the policy sets for a specific user account and determine what they can access or
not in the system.

12. Show me how to merge two duplicate person records.


Go to Data Integrity homepage, click on Duplicate People, select the checkboxes for the
duplicated person records. Click the lightning bolt, click on Merge Duplicates, select the
surviving person ID and select Merge Duplicate Records.

13. How would I batch update the "Legal Custody" field for all parents of students?

To batch update “Legal Custody” field for all parents of students, go to launchpad and
type Parent custody of students. Select fields necessary for the query and run the
query. From the results page, click the lightning bolt, click batch update records, select
legal custody and select yes, and click Update Records.

14. What is a user account record? How can I find that in the system?

A User Account is the person’s access to the portal depending on their role. You can
find it by clicking on launchpad and typing Find User Accounts, or Clicking launchpad
and selecting system or Identity & Access Management. Then click on Find User
Accounts.

15. How do I give someone a new security role?

Run a find a person query from Identity & Access Management, click on security Admin
link from a specific record/person ID, click Security roles tab, select the role you want to
add from the left and click Update.

16. Describe relationships.

Simply defines as a relationship between two people, person with the school or
organizations.
