INITIAL IDEA/ABSTRACT

Initially i planned to work on 2-3 digital games, and 1-2 Board


games. In our TDR we have thought of many ideas and most
of the ideation came through playing games and discussion
with mentors like Shraddha, Amit and Bala. My game was
sets out to be a driving simulation in space environment.
Earlier it was just a driving car on plane surface.
SOFTWARE USE

The whole game development process is being done in


Unity Editor, and this game will be playable at PC. most of the
game development suggestion was given by Bala sir during
weekly meetings

It is a single-player driving game built for PC
where the player is trapped in alien spacecraft and
he/She has to drive through the spacecraft to
escape from the spacecraft and release into
Space.

Why to work on driving game?

Working on driving game was not easy task where the initial phases of development
was very slow and hurdle full where most of the code was showing lots of error in
running,
I thought of replacing my task with easy 2d game so that it could be easily doable but
with our respective mentor i got enough to start my idea of 3d driving game. I have
stuck some reference above.
Research area for game?

In the game design research the main aim is to uncover new facts and insight about
game design, design processes, that is, referencing existing games is to gain new
knowledge and understanding about game design. Game research, on the other
hand, is an umbrella term for all kinds of research studying games and for Driving
genre i have played games like-

1. In the game development process i have to make sure that in my game all the car’s wheels
are rotating properly according to the displacement of car.
2. Is me and my team worker coding has less or no coding errors.

1. Ability of learning and building games by learning unity Game engine.


2. Worked daily on the software like Adobe photoshop and Unity Editors.
3. Started referencing ideas and pinned them down for better rectification.
4. There are multiple rectification held in my game which helped me build my game
environment modular and easily editable.
5. Ui manager and placement of icon also learned during the TDR practices.
6. Beautification of the game was also the main surface part of the game helps to gather player
interest and motive to play.
