I would like to express my special thanks of gratitude to my lecturer DR. Norshila Binti
Shaifuddin who gave me the golden opportunity to write this reflection essay which also helped
me in doing a lot of research and I came to know about so many new things I am really thankful
to them.

Secondly, I would also like to thank my parents and friends who helped me a lot in
finalizing this project within the limited time frame.
Abstract

I've finally figured out what data, information, knowledge, and wisdom mean. Individual
pieces of such files or databases are called bibliographic records. Make information more user-
friendly. The process of producing, developing, organizing, maintaining, and utilizing records
and information in order to achieve a certain goal. We worked really hard as students to gather
facts and information in order to achieve knowledge and subsequently wisdom. The record
serves as a proxy for the information product in information retrieval systems such as
catalogues, indexes, bibliographies, and search engines. When people are seeking for
information, they can go to any of the nearby information centers. This issue covers the
organization of information in libraries, archives, museums, and art galleries, as well as the
internet, digital libraries, data management, records management, and knowledge
management.

1.0 Introduction essay

I have always thought of myself as a competent in organizing my information. The skill of

effectively organizing my thoughts and feelings through words and expressions seemed to
come easily to me. However, I did not realize how much my work was lacking until I go through
this subject and realized there were many theories regarding this subject.

Learning the best way to organize information was a huge hurdle for me. I have always
been a procrastinator. However, after the first day of class, I realized I would need to modify my
thinking and approach to homework. I was not able to completely kill the procrastination habit I
developed in previous days, but I did learn some much-needed time management skills. I also
learned how writing without the looming cloud of a deadline could open a creative door.

First topic is about the introduction of Organization in Information the door of this subject.
One of the most important things I have learned so far is the definition of the knowledge
spectrum. I was very interested to learn the hierarchy is more of a step to gain knowledge with
the date we have gotten. In other words, the process how raw eggs turned into cooked boiled
eggs. As students, we were worked extremely hard in gaining data and information to gain
knowledge and then wisdom. The wisdom is not earned easily, it must go through steps and
process in order to gain.

The notion of the wisdom challenged many of the assumptions I have about the
information hierarchy. I hope to run my own business one day, and the distinction between data
and information really makes me think about what good knowledge might look like. What I
appreciate about this topic is because I finally understand the definition of data, information,
knowledge and wisdom. Implementing without understanding will make it hard to know if the
data I found is legit and useful. However, today's internet age allows students to have global
reach and a powerful voice, so I'm sure it convenient to find useful resources.

1
2.0 Organization of Information in Different Environments

The topic I would like to discuss about Organization of Information in Different

Environments. This topic are highlights about how information is organized in libraries, archives,
museums and art galleries, the internet, digital libraries, data administration, records
management and knowledge management. This topic is connected with the course because it
also stresses the skills required to do basic cataloguing, recognize various information search
methods, and use metadata. For instance, most of the information agency requires the
cataloguing skills.

Information agencies is information agencies include archives, historical societies,

libraries, and museums, among others, that provide or maintain information resources. The goal
of an institution or center is to organize and offer information so that it may be retrieved for
various reasons, as well as to provide users with resources and services.

This is an important subject with a tremendous impact on society. Especially in the field
of information organizing. When individuals are looking for information, we can go to any of the
surrounding information organizations. We may easily use the resources and transform them to
knowledge using the information provided. They offered a wide range of information from a
variety of sources. For example, if we are looking for war history, we can go to war museum.
There will be fossil collections and items are numbered in such a way that they may be retrieved
quickly.

There are many forms of information are available in the museum. Firstly, consists of
two- or three-dimensional visual content. Secondly, information in museum are mostly in
physical form because collections are not as standardized as library or archive collections, they
are less likely to be accessed electronically. The provenance of an object or a collection of
objects is essential information for establishing the name and other attributes that describe that
object. Items in a collection are catalogued as accession records. Groups of individual artefacts
are sometimes described as a single lot with a single accession number.

2
3.0 Bibliographic Control: Definition, Purpose, History & Development

In this topic refers to the process of organizing or arranging recorded data according to
established standards in order to make it immediately recognizable and retrievable. This topic
highlights that bibliographic files or lists, or, if automated, bibliographic databases, are the most
typical instruments used in bibliographic management. Bibliographic records are individual units
of such files or databases. According to Winston Roberts and Ross Bourne from IFLA, the It
contributes to cultural and economic growth by making information available by cataloging and
describing library materials in a catalogue or database, therefore enabling access to those
materials in a library or documentation center.

One of the most important things I have learned so far Describe objects that can be
found in libraries or databases. Make information more accessible to users the process of
creating, developing, organizing, managing, and utilizing records and information in order to. For
example, the phrase refers to a variety of bibliographic operations, such as maintaining
comprehensive records of published bibliographic items, standardizing bibliographic
descriptions, and providing physical access through consortia, networks, or other cooperative
initiatives.

4.0 Information Representation

The importance of the information representation challenged many of the assumptions I

have about the role of bibliography in society. For many years, the term "bibliographic record"
has been used to describe physical information bundles (such as books and sound
recordings).Despite the fact that it has been applied to records made for motion films, sound
recordings, computer files, and other media, the term bibliographic has retained a negative
connotation due to the prefix biblio-, which means "book.". What I appreciate this view is its
simplicity the idea that the features of an information package are presented in a surrogate
record. In information retrieval systems such as catalogues, indexes, bibliographies, and search
engines, the record acts as a proxy for the information product.

3
Conclusion

To sum up, this course offers a lot of advantages that I may use in the future. Not only
was it beneficial to me as a student. This course will also assist me in determining where to go
for reliable information in the future. For instance, if I need to learn about something for work, I
may use the topics I've studied to do so. It is beneficial for all because sometimes the
information we found may not from reliable sources. It is important to identify which resources
are useful and worth.

What I appreciate about this topic is because I finally understand the definition of data,
information, knowledge and wisdom. Bibliographic records are individual units of such files or
databases. Make information more accessible to users the process of creating, developing,
organizing, managing, and utilizing records and information in order to. As students, we were
worked extremely hard in gaining data and information to gain knowledge and then wisdom. In
information retrieval systems such as catalogues, indexes, bibliographies, and search engines,
the record acts as a proxy for the information product. When individuals are looking for
information, we can go to any of the surrounding information organizations. This topic are
highlights about how information is organized in libraries, archives, museums and art galleries,
the internet, digital libraries, data administration, records management and knowledge
management.
