can be people, animals or things.

Three Feet Apart

Ms. Evelyn is a teacher and works from home. She still goes to
the market every week even though their community is under
quarantine. She knows that the market is clean and is being
sanitized every single day. She thinks that it is safe to go there.

One Saturday morning, she went to the market with her

husband Danny. They both saw that some people were lining
up not following the social or physical distancing advised by
the health authorities. So Ms. Evelyn and her husband told the
people to make at least 3 feet or 1 meter apart from each
other when lining up because it will help prevent the spread of
virus. The people understood the importance of social or
physical distancing and they thank Ms. Evelyn and Danny.

A Way of Helping

It has already been a month since the community

quarantine started. Many people stayed home and were not
able to work for their families. While some people managed to
work from home.

One Sunday morning, mother is busy preparing

breakfast for the family and father is also setting up his laptop
for his work. Their children, Alyssa and Aira joined their father
and mother at the dining area to eat breakfast together.

While having breakfast, someone was knocking at the

gate and asking for some help. Alyssa got a package of
goods and gave it to the old lady at the gate. The family
usually keeps some packages of goods for people who will be
knocking and ask for some help. They have been doing this
since the quarantine started. This is their simple way of helping
in times of crisis.
