This document discusses the importance of having an intimate relationship with God in different roles: as a Father, Best Friend, Provider, and Healer. It emphasizes developing a relationship with God beyond simply saying please and thank you, and instead opening up to God about everything, knowing He will guide and talk to you. Seeing God as a Father provides identity and purpose, and leads to one's destiny. As Provider, God will meet all needs according to His riches, though what we need and want differ; He may remove things to protect us from dependence on them rather than Him. God wants us to build our lives on Him as the firm foundation.

Relationship with God
if you’re relationship with God is consistent with the series of please and thank you lang, that is not a relationship at all. o Kasi I can say please and thankyou sa waitress like, please get me a water, thank you. (see its not an open form of communication) o The relationship that God wants us to have is: Is one of intimacy, Is one where you can express to Him everything or every little thing that you feel . And, God will talk back to you, the way that you need and he will let you know kung ano yung dapat mong gawin. See, it’s more than our please and thank you, kasi the please and thank you is all because of God’s grace. But we also have to give back. And to give back, we have to be kung ano yung gusto ni Lord para satin. We have to change kung anong gusto nya na palitan natin. And we have to walk in His holiness in everything that we do (your greatest ministry is your personal relationship with Jesus. with the holy spirit.) a. God as a father John 14:6 o “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. o When we say way, diba it is a path or a avenue to a destination o When Jesus says “I am the way the truth and the life” o (most of us know that Jesus is the only way to heaven, Yes!; He’s the only way to salvation, Yes!) o But there is another meaning that is more important, which is yung reason why Jesus came and became the way not just the heaven because heaven without the father there is not a heaven at all. And, not just for salvation, because the hell is not hell if God’s presence was there. o “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. o So Jesus is the way to the Father. So the reason why Jesus came down here, to be the bridge for you and me to step into a relationship with God as father. o Not just Lord, not just King, not just savior, but FATHER. o There is something happen to our lives when we know God as father. o Now we know, that there is something happens to a person when they don’t know their father; there is something happens pag yung bata di napalaki ng father ng maayos; there’s something that happen sa tao when their father is absent. Di ako nagcocondemned or nagdedefine specifically. o Because our father, the heavenly father more than makes up sa pagkukulang and failures ng ibang earthly father and mother. o Meron man tayong great parent, the best parent. But, no parent is enough to fill the eternal hole in our hearts. Only the heavenly Father. o Can give you the identity that leads you to your destiny. o Lahat tayo may destiny, amen? o Lahat tayo may purpose? o But there is only one path to that purpose, and that is inimacy with God as a Father. <3 b. God as a Best Friend John 15:15 John 15:13 John 15:14 (recall foundational scripture ng JMBC) c. God as a Provider Philippians 4:19 o And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. o Paul was confident that God would meet their needs because they were generous in their giving o This is not a promise of wealth, or even an easy life. Rather, the concept of "need" has to be considered according to God's will. o What we "need" and what we "want" are not always the same thing. o That being said, God tends to bless those who will use the resources they have according to His purposes. o Their needs would be met through Christ, the one who made and controlled all things o They would never lack with Christ as their provider. Haggai 1:9 o “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the LORD Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house. o Why God blew away?? o It’s not the devil, diba kasi may mga taong nagkakaron ng asuumption na nagiinterfere yung devil, nasira yung jeep na sinasakyan, oh it’s the devil. Umulan during your errands, it’s the devil. Iniwan ng Jowa, it’s the devil. But God said no, I did that. I made him break up with you. I made her not call you back. I blew it awayyy. o Akala ko ba God shall supply all your needs according to His glorious riches, but Haggai said “I blew it away” o Lord kalian, lord akala ko ba provider ka, Lord ang tagal ko ng nag hihintay. Pero it’s always Haggai, blew it away o Lord why you blew away, di mo maintindihan, bakit si Lord mismo o God said, so you wouldn’t o It was not to punish you, it was to protect you. o Because kung si God hinayaan ka na magdepend sa kung anong meron ka, you will forget your source. o So when God see us getting too attached sa something na binigay nya, God will blew it away. o When God sees us building our house on sinking sand, God will send a storm to check our foundation.ss o Because God want us to rather have to go to a season of frustrations, than to build your whole life on a wrong foundation. d. God as our Healer Exodus 15:26
