Parking & Transportation Services

MSC01 1180
2401 Redondo Drive South NE

Dear Mrs. Morck:

I am contacting you today about the abysmal parking situation here on campus and a few suggestions
on how you may be able to fix it.

The parking problem can cause some major inconveniences impacting not only our education but our
safety as well. It often takes over five minutes to find a parking spot and sometimes it is only remotely
close to where you need to go which can cause students to be late to class or other educational related
meanings. It is also a safety issue because it causes students, that are worried about missing class to
take risks they would otherwise not have to take like running through a crowded parking lot or driving
faster because of the worry that they will not be able to find a parking spot. We also pay quite a bit of
money to park in these lots that are quite frankly not up to par for the price.

There are a few spots that I and other students believe could be turned into additional lots or we also
would be alright with the current situation if the price was lowered. We would suggest that the price be
lowered by around $30 to accommodate the problems that are associated with the current
arrangement.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Parker McMillan
