MISSION

Committed to work towards providing quality education to school children to make them enlightened,
God-loving, self-reliant, productive, locally and globally competitive members of the community.

VISION
To create through education a dynamic, progressive, productive and humane society of Filipino who are
locally and globally competitive, deeply committed to the ideals of love of God and country and who are
united, peace loving and enjoying a desired quality of life.

Dear Students
Welcome to our school Saint Rose Academy of San Quintin. We offer strong academic
and activity progress that aim to cultivate creativity, leadership and cultural understanding while
providing a strong academic foundation. Although student success is our focus, success
comprises many interconnecting facets. We measure student’s success holistically, focusing on
their will being, forging positive relationship and developing a strong educational foundation.
Which of these successes are founded in our commitment to the Student Learning Result.

The Student Learning Results, promote our School Culture, dedicated to creating a
caring, respectful and inclusive learning environment, As a community of students, parents and
educators, we must work together and communicate clearly to ensure these foundational skills,
remain our focus. Saint Rose Academy student are strongly supported by their parents and
teachers , and allowing them to take control of their educational choices and develop a strong
voice for themselves and for others needing support. The faculty of Saint Rose Academy
committed to supporting all students and are available to answer question, work through
difficulties and promote consistent positive environment open to all students and parents.

Be sure to keep up to date with all the happenings of our school through the homeroom
announcements. Together we need to support our community by keeping in touch with and
supporting the many events occurring in our campus. We must also remember to enjoy our time
as part of the Saint Rose Academy family. We look forward to an amazing school year, filled

Community Partnership and Communication Process

Introduction

Saint Rose Academy believes that parents and educators share the responsibility for
creating a partnership that fosters students’ learning. Together we play a for mature role in the
development of the students sense of justice equity and the worth as member of the school
community.

It is our hope that these guidelines will provide useful framework to promote effective
and appropriate communication within Saint Rose Academy Community and will support the
Saint Rose policy in “Promoting a Culture of Respect.”

Working Partnerships
We recognize that effective partnerships are characterized by clearly defined
responsibilities, mutual respect and a common vision of the goals to be achieved.
The Responsibility of the School (Teachers, Administrators, and Support Staff) is to:

 Provide a safe environment that support the development of positive learning attitude,
habits and values that are consistent with the Mission of the school.
 Provide high quality curriculum and instruction in a supportive environment
 Encourage students’ growth as responsibilities and creativity.
 Model integrity, academic curiosity, responsibility and creativity.
 Communicate and work with parents as partners in ensuring student achievement
reflective of the Saint Rose Academic Mission, Vision and Student Learning Result.
 Provide timely and clear information about school programs and event.

The teachers Responsibility

 Explain the curriculum and approach to learning in classroom, expectation, methods of


assessment and reporting of learning to students and families
 Report student progress regularly to present and the frequency of the communication is
determined by each division.
 When appropriate, work with parents, counselors on learning specialist to provide a
steam approach to support students.
 Communicate how parents can support what is going on in the classroom.
 Share observations, interests, and concerns during emails meetings and during parent-
teacher and student conferences.
 Invite parents involvement in the learning process. For example participating in the class
activities, attendance at school events, invitation for guest speakers, or connecting with
the community.
 Respect family needs and values e.g. family time
 Invite input and feedback from parents.
 Respond in a timely fashion to emails or phone calls from parents.

Parent Responsibility is to:


 Provide home environment that supports the development of positive learning attitudes,
habits, and values that are consistent with those of the school.
 Play an active part in the student learning e.g. monitoring attendance, homework,
completion
 Help their child and failure as part of his/her growth process
 Review, with the child, information provided by the school that provides insight into the
student learning and growth.
Ex. Report cards, assignment feedbacks
 Communicate with the teachers, as developmentally appropriate. If the child is having
problem with learning
 Inform the school of any home or family situation that may affects a child learning or
behavior.
 Participates in the decision about their child’s education
 Be responsive in the request to inputs, feedback or opinion
 Stay informed by the reading the school newsletter, class updates, or accessing the
website.
 Attend, as family responsibilities allow, parents events or education evenings. These
include parents’ forum curriculum rights and feedbacks.
 Participate as family responsibilities allow, in school organization
 Respect a teacher academic efforts by minimizing a child’s absence from school by non-
critical reason.

Addressing Disagreement

Dialing with disagreements requires respect and discretion by both parents and the
school. Both parties should respectfully seek to gather accurate and resolve problems through
appropriate channels of communicate.

Confidentially contributes the trust between parents, teachers and administration. All
adults should use discretion about when, where and with when issues are discussed. It is
important that all adults not discuss individual children, teachers, or families in inappropriate
public and social situations.

Attendance

Saint Rose Academy that daily school attendance is critical if students are to receive
maximum benefits from the opportunities offered by the school for learning and growth
absences, for any reason, are disruptor to the learning process and to the achievement of the
student. Being one time in school and for class is also important for the individual student and
the class as a whole. The absent or tardy student misses valuable interactive classroom
experiences and immediate feedback from teachers and peers.

The school is committed to works with parents to ensure consistent attendance for all
students. Any absence, tardy or early dismissed must be accounted for Parents should notify the
school if their child will be abort.

Each principal will annually publish the official start and end of the school day and will
also adhere the specific procedure for the late arrival at school and also early dismissed.

Attendance Expectation

1. Daily attendance is expected of each student


2. The school day begins at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m.
3. Attendance is taken at the beginning of each class period in homeroom
4. In addition to classes and homeroom, students are expected to attend class/community
meetings.
5. In order to earn credit, the student must complete the course in good standing
6. Students are expected to attend classes until the official last day of school.
