2. Based on the cited Personal Characteristics in Section 1.2, do you consider yourself of
becoming an entrepreneur in the future? Which personality traits do you have to help you
of becoming not just an entrepreneur but a successful entrepreneur? Discuss fully.

• Yes, I consider myself of becoming an entrepreneur in the future because I want

to make an extra salary our of it using my investments and the business is also in
demand in the future. This can help me to fulfill my necessities and help other
people to have jobs. This can also affect in the community of the outcome of the
business is good or not good.
• To become a successful entrepreneur is to make yourself positive about it. You
must make the best out of it if you want to succeed in this line of business. To
make this a reality, one of the important traits that can help you to achieve is to
become determined in your business. Me as a student, although many homework
and activities are assigned to each subject, I wanted things to go easy and
accordingly to my schedule. Hence, I finished all the assignments as soon as
possible with quality depending on the time given so that I can take the extra time
to rest and do the other activities. The same thing with courage and discipline, you
will do anything to make it possible and true regarding your business. You will need
to discipline yourself with the time and courage to do so from your passion.

Aside from doing the things accordingly to my plan, I strongly recommend imposing
empathy with my co-workers or employees because not everybody have the same
situation in life. If they need someone to talk to, everyone is available to talk and
help with the situation. Same thing with business like talking to each other for the
better idea or creative idea. Enthusiastic approach is one of my observable traits
to me according to my family. If I want to know something or want to find something
that interests me so much, I make this as an opportunity to seek that information
and be satisfied in finding the answer. It can be related to research and finding a
specific data to help me with the problem. That applied also to business, If I want
my business to reach to its greater heights, I want to apply the best approach to it
by finding some techniques and methods.

And lastly, I find myself flexible in many situations and responsible person all the
time. When I had given a problem in other fields and situations. I look mostly to the
nature of that area or field. One thing I observe is the location of the problem. If
you know where the question is then there is an answer. Flexibility can also apply
to business; it can refer to alternative process and methods that can focus on
solving the other problem differently and methodologically. Responsibility is the
most important to me as a student and in life. The moment we are born in this
world, we have a responsibility, first in ourselves, then the other people, for our
country and to God. To become a successful entrepreneur, it is the people that
surrounds you, help you, yourself and the attitude that can take you to the greater
heights. Apply the positive characteristics that you have and choose for what its
best.

3. Write your own assessment on Chapter 1 discussions. Briefly discuss.

In making our best decisions in life, first we must think for the greater good of that
idea or need to balance because not all decisions are with good impact. Some decisions
have side effects, like consequences or risks. All these decisions affect not just only the
persons involve but the community where it belongs. This applies to entrepreneurship,
making a person to become an entrepreneur and make the business the best out of it
with co-workers or employees that are very responsible and willing to do all the tasks
given by the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur will handle all the rules and the executive
officer in his/her own business. Aside from making the system in your business, you must
open for increasing the potential of your own talents as well as your employees. It is also
good when letting your co-workers to act like an entrepreneur so that everyone can
assess the whole point of business and taking responsibility for their actions and
decisions.
Most businesses start from small business before it becomes a big enterprise that
helps other people to have jobs and fulfill their necessities. Having a positive
characteristic or trait help most entrepreneurs to achieve the success of their business.
Having the positive people around you can also affect your business in reaching the
greater heights. The skills that you have can be an asset to your business and also the
skills that the employees have will be an important key in reaching the success of your
business. Of course, when creating a business that you want or that satisfy your interests
and other people, there are certain advantages and disadvantages you must consider
before you finalize your business plan. Is it helpful and good for the community? or Is it
bad and will not make more money to continue the business? You must consider every
choices and balance for what it is best. Flexible to all situations and determined in making
the right choices although there may be a consequence.

These are ways on how to create business these days due to the contemporary
trend and the purpose of the business. Some of them are aimed to develop technologies
to help other people by means of communication, assistance, and work-related problems.
Others adapt the practice of green company that aims to help the environment and natural
resources. But now in the modern era, most entrepreneurs use the social media to
increase the sales and range of the business especially in the pandemic situation
because not all people are allowed to go outside due to health reasons and risks of getting
the virus. People are now finding ways on how to create, maintain, and improve the
businesses by use of resourceful procedures and methods that help other communities
to get the best service and products and also the role to its community. Picture what you
want to achieve and life, to have a goal, a dream that you want in your business. A vision
that can become your motto by upholding the good moral, responsibility, and the greater
good for the people.
