Assignment-5 “Bicycle Shop / Rental Center Program Requirements”

Due: Progress drawing due Tuesday, Nov. 23rd, 7:00 PM

Assignment:
Draw two (2) wall sections labeling your building materials and dimensions. Wall sections required
are:

(1) Full height Exterior Wall section of the front entrance fascade of your building from top of slab to top of
roof structure. See previous assignment for building height information. Figure out your wall section on your
own as this will truly test your construction ability for this class.

(1) Full height typical interior wall section from top of slab to bottom of ceiling structure. Interior 2’x 4’
lay-in acoustical ceiling panels = 14’-0”.

Put them in a viewport to the correct scale on the correct sheet, Text must match that of your other sheets.
Show the appropriate label marks back on your floor plan where you took the section line for both exterior
and interior walls (2 section marks will be shown). Show the detail numbers and label information below
each wall section detail. No drawing reviews will be done over the Thanksgiving holiday!

Required Drawings: (“Your initials”_Bicycle Shop.dwg One drawing file) All Final Drawings due
December 3rd, 2021 before 7:00 PM!

Paperspace:
A-1 Site Plan – show all parking, ADA parking/symbols/curb cuts, curbs, sidewalks, islands and vegetation.
A-2 Floor Plan – show room names, walls, doors, windows, call-outs and dimensions with 1/8” precision.
A-3 Elevations – (2) exterior elevations, Front-Back or Front-Left or Front-Right, show materials and dims.
A-4 Wall Section – (1) exterior wall section & (1) interior wall section showing all building materials and wall
height per requirements. Use your textbook to help you figure out the wall section
and materials. This must match your elevations and not be taken off some internet
website or copied out of some other book.

*Drawings must be on sheets with correct callouts, text, title-block info, to a readable scaled
viewport for grading purposes. Each will have a separate grade to finish out the semester. Grading
will be based on completion of the above requirements and grading rubric. Do NOT procrastinate on
this project. Plan on getting one sheet done each week to complete the project. *Email me
