Statement of Purpose

Introduction:

My name is Mistry Ronakkumar Rameshbhai, son of Rameshbhai Manchubhai Mistry. My parents have
been a great source of inspiration to me. Also, they have motivated me to be dexterous for a better
career and to learn in a multicultural environment, to groom myself in an advanced, sophisticated and
modern corporate culture so that I can compete in this global world, a top quality education is required.
Therefore, I have decided to study a MSC Electrical Power Engineering at University of Greenwich. I was
born and brought up in Surat, the diamond city of Gujarat - India. My father is working in Shree Khedut
Sahakari Khand Udyog Mandli Ltd bardoli and doing farm business and my mother is a homemaker.

Academic Background:

As of my academics, I have completed my Secondary School Certificate Examination (Grade10th) with

Further studies were always a priority for me but it was my belief that before that I must gather some
valuable practical experience in order to gain a complete knowledge because knowledge is incomplete
without practical experience. In keeping with this idea I started my professional phase of life with JAPS &
Co where I worked as an Account Assistant from July 2018 to till date. I have always been fascinated
with the economic developments that took place in the world. The willingness to know about the
accounting and finance concepts made me want to pursue BA-Accounting (Hons) program. I aim to get
inside the corporate world and become a great chartered accountant.

United Kingdom has a reputation of world class research and availability of high class education. Also,
the education system in UK supports close interaction between students and staff and emphasizes more
on providing practical knowledge which will give me real time work environment. The opportunities
offered by the UK education system are tremendous. The Scholarships and Financial support by the UK

other reasons why students prefer studying in United Kingdom. Ultimately, UK provides all perks of

pursuing my Bachelor’s Degree. The university offers high standard education and extensive supervision

understanding of accounting and finance, and prepares me for a career in accounting, finance and
banking. The experience I'll gain will help me to achieve my goal as a Chartered Accountant and stand

I can have opportunities for a job or go for higher studies. I will be able to use my profession anywhere
in the world. I can work with many people every day, both customers and staff. Furthermore, it will
allow me the flexibility to have my own company if opportunity appears in upcoming time. I will be
positive all the time to accept challenges and changes comes in my profession with the demand of time
and will upgrade myself accordingly. As a graduate I’ll be equipped to enter a number job roles,
