Directions: Read the following items carefully and give what is asked (3 items ×10 points)

1. For the whole semester, you have been exposed to different topics in ethics. How do you feel
about the lessons you have learned in this course? Do you find them useful in real life? Why?

Ans. As I review the last few weeks of ethics, I have truly been challenged to think about situations and
circumstances that I have never considered before. Through the teaching provided in this class, I believe
that I will be more aware of what we will face and how to overcome caving in a world that is prone to
unethical behavior. Being ethical isn’t something that comes naturally, it is a choice to stand up for what
you believe in and takes courage.

Yes, it is very useful one thing that really stuck out to me was about how one of the hardest things we
will face is not necessarily that we will make unethical decisions ourselves but that we will be tempted
to tolerate them. It is a scary thought to think that in doing nothing you can still be unethical. It is truly a
matter of courage; courage to make the hard decision; courage to take a stand even it could cost you
everything. Even though I didn’t join the synchronous session weekly, I’ve only watched the recordings. I
believe I will have a better understanding of the situations I may face and start to build a strong ethical
foundation before the situation ever occurs.

This class has equipped me to make smarter decisions in my future and helped me think about some
tough issues I had not considered before. But even now, I catch myself thinking more over daily
decisions as well as decisions I have made in the past. It has been great to have a class that is not only
relevant in our career but also in our daily life.

2. What questions do you need to ask during unethical situations?

Ans.
My question goes like this, Am I doing enough for myself? I simply ask this for myself if I am not
contented of what I’m doing. Second, Am I where I want to be? Asking this question because I’m
sure about my future.
3. What ethical values do you think should be taught to the youth today?

Ans. Honesty, from a young age, honesty should be instilled as one of the most important values for
kids. Honesty is always the best policy, and your child must be encouraged to tell the truth regardless of
whatever mistakes he/she may have committed. A person who practices Honesty in his/her life, possess
strong moral character. An Honest person shows good behavior, always follows rules and regulations,
maintain discipline, speak the truth, and is punctual. An honest person is trustworthy as he always tends
to speak the truth.
