Career Objective:
As a Quality Control Inspector, Piping having more than 19 years of combined
experience in various fields of Engineering Construction works such as a Quality
Assurance, Quality Control/Inspection, other related Mechanical works both in Oil &
Gas/Petrochemical/Refineries at local and overseas. A result oriented person, high

Responsibilities/Duties as (AG Piping);

 Assigned as QC Piping Inspector and performing all QC inspection activities in


accordance with the project Quality plan, ITP, procedures, applicable codes,
standards and Project specifications.
 Raising request for inspection (RFIs) to the Client Inspectors for Witnessing/Hold
Points as applicable.
 Review incoming materials certificate, MTC and delivery notes, inspect delivered
material as per project specification before acceptance and approval.
 Performing weekly inspection of material storage, handling and preservation.
 Reviewing Sub Contractors’ Procedures related to Piping Work Fabrication,
Construction and Testing as required.
 Conduct visual inspection and material verification of pipes, fittings and gaskets.
 Coordinate with the Client site representative for the schedule of QC Inspection
activities of different phases of the work.
 Performing inspection of ongoing piping activities as per company and client
requirements utilizing the applicable standards and project specifications.
 Responsible for QA/QC piping inspections, shop piping spool fabrication and field
installation, laying and assembly inspection, fit-up, alignment inspection.
 Inspection and erection of piping system as per approved isometric drawings.
 Verify correct type of materials has been fabricated, correct orientation and
dimension of pipe spools as per approved isometric drawings.
 Inspection of Pipe laying/installation and testing activities.
 Maintain daily log of inspection for Fabrication Shop and site work activities.
 Inspection and monitoring of material handling and storage at site.
 Daily inspection & reporting of Job site activities.
 Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and
ensure activities at the site are as per approved QC procedure and inspection test
plan (ITP).
 Notify to Construction supervisor and QA/QC Manager on any deviation observed
from the construction specification so that, corrective action can be initiated.
 Maintain the records of all the QA/QC documents and reports.
 Review and inspect all works to be executed and ensure that work is done in
accordance with the Saudi Aramco applicable standard, codes, STD drawings and
specifications.
 Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates,
calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site
instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered and other QA/QC
documents.
 Conduct inspection of all pipe support using correct material and follow support
detail drawing dimensioning.
 Test package review and preparation of pre-test punch listing prior to conducting
hydro test.
 Internal Punch list preparation prior to testing Package submission.
 Carry out line checking and record punch list items (A/B) prior to Pressure testing
with client inspector.
 Verifying piping system internal cleanliness by flushing prior to hydro test.
 Verifying the cleared punch list item ‘A’ prior to conduction hydro test.
 Verifying the test certificates of test manifold, gauges, relief valve, temperature
recorder, torque wrench and visually inspecting the Materials.
 Witnessing Hydro-testing/pressure test of piping system.
 Check and inspect the gaskets, supports, valves prior to line reinstatement
acceptance as per latest drawings for construction, code and specification
standards.
 Witness the layup, Re-instatement inspection and verification punch list items.
 Clearing all punch list item category” B” prior to final acceptance of the line and
assist pre-commissioning or commissioning and plant startup.
 Conducting verification inspection of flange joint assembles and bolt tightening
inspection.
 Execute daily surveillance inspection all areas to find any deficiency, violation and
raise NCR or surveillance report.
 Conduct line check to verify the overall completeness of installed piping system.
 Monitor the effective implementation of procedure in accordance with Quality
manuals and Quality plans.
 Verifying that all necessary inspections and tests, as required of the project and
by statutory regulations, are carried out and appropriate records are updated and
maintained.
 Verification of implementation of corrective & preventive actions against the
nonconformities and reporting results to Discipline Supervisors through QA/QC
Supervisor and Quality Manager.
 Compile and Submit weekly report and requested information / statistics to
Department QC Supervisor.
 Direct responsible for the implementation of Engineering standard and
Specifications.
 Verification of construction drawing and material specification against material
take-off list with other pertaining documents which includes Isometric drawings,
plan detail drawing and P&ID.
 Quality check on the material and installation as per the Quality specs/manual and
client Quality standards and requirements.
 Responsible for quality assurance/quality control with strict adherence
implementing project requirements, specifications and reference standard
complete surveillance of on-going construction activities as required on approved
quality plan.

Responsibilities/Duties as (UG GRE/RTR Piping):

 Assigned as QC Inspector GRE/RTR Piping where, I was responsible for the


inspection of all U/G Non- metallic piping activities such as pipe shaving, proper
mixing of adhesive component, pipe jointing (Quick lock, Butt & Wrap joint) and
application of heating blankets as per required heating temperature, proper
storage of completed pipe spools.
 Review of GRE/FRP/RTR and Thermoplastic Piping Installers qualification.
 Review of isometric drawings and all documents related to project scope of work.
 Responsible for raising RFI for the inspection on daily basis.
 Performing Material receiving, pipe laying/installation Inspection.
 Inspection of piping spool fabrication, installation and testing.
 Inspection and monitoring of site activities such as sand bedding preparation,
pipe laying and assembly/jointing verifying its conformance on IFC drawings &
project specification.
 Perform inspection and monitoring of material handling/storage at site.
 Monitor the effective implementation of procedures in accordance with Quality
Assurance Manuals and Quality Plans.
 Inspection of U/G GRE/FRP/RTR piping installation and testing & Maintain daily log
of inspection activities.
 Installation inspection of Fire Monitor, Fire live hose reel, Safety Eye-wash and
safety shower as per project specification and international standards.
 Verify that all site activities comply with the quality codes and standards.
 Perform inspection for stored material GRE/FRP/RTR pipes, fittings, adhesive,
lamination material for butt and Wrap joints and to confirm this material has been
stored as per manufacturer instruction and Saudi Aramco standards.
 Reviewing of hydro test packages and prepare pre-test punch listing prior to hydro
test.
 Internal Punch list preparation prior to testing Package submission.
 Carry out line checking and record punch list items (A/B) prior to Pressure testing
with client inspector.
 Verifying piping system internal cleanliness by flushing prior to hydro test.
 Verifying the cleared punch list item ‘A’ prior to conduction hydro test.
 Verifying the test certificates of test manifold, pressure gauges, relief valve,
temperature recorder, torque wrench and visually inspecting the Materials.
 Witnessing of hydro testing of pressure lines such as Fire water, drinking
water/Raw water, and Gravity leak testing of Non-pressure lines.
 Conduct and witnessing of leak test inspection of MH & CB.
 Ensure that all pertinent QC records related to Non-metallic piping (GRE/FRP)
works and necessary documentation are in order.
 Monitoring performance of GRE/FRP/RTR installers and verify that personnel are
well trained and familiar with job.
 Perform regular inspection and prepare accurate records.
 Maintain daily Log of the inspection activities.
 Witnessing of internal cleaning inspection of fabricated GRE/RTR Piping spools.
 Notify to Construction supervisor and QA/QC Manager on any deviation observed
from the construction specification so that, corrective action can be initiated.

Responsibilities/Duties

 Direct site supervision of piping fabrication and installation work.


 Checking and expediting piping material required for fabrication.
 Material take-off and isometric drawing preparation.
 Responsible for arranging various kinds of work permits and ensuring safe work
practices.

 Conduct tool box meeting on daily basis prior to start of job activity.
 Responsible for preparation of daily progress report.
 Prepare as-built drawing on site for any modification work.
 Interpret isometric drawings and piping plans in assistance to field construction.

safety and quality work.
 Planning the day to day activities as per the project milestone.
 Facilitate timely problem resolution with the construction crew.
 Preparation of red lines (mark-up) on drawings during construction and submitting

engineering requirements.
