USB Driver information for the Sea Tel Inc USB Devices
The driver supplied with this software package is a “.inf” file that Windows uses to
configure the USB port to support connections to the following Sea Tel products:
Pedestal Control Unit 09G2 P/N 131057
Motor Driver Assembly P/N 131227
Modem Assembly, 400 MHz FSK, 3 Channel P/N 129613
Modem Assembly, 400 MHz FSK, 4 Channel P/N 130854

This driver will work with the following Software versions:


Software, 09G2 Pedestal Control Unit P/N 131579 Ver 2.00 and later.
Software, Motor Driver Assembly P/N 131578 Ver 1.00 and later.
Software, 400 MHz FSK Modem P/N 130310 Ver 1.02 and later.

<Instructions for install>

Steps to install SeaTel USB driver:


1. Run the installer for SeaTel_CDC, ProgTerm or DacRemp.
2. Connect the USB Cable to the any of the supported devices listed above.
3. The Computer will auto detect new hardware attached and display the “Found New Hardware
Wizard”
4. Select the Install the software automatically (Recommended) button and click Next. The computer
will check the %HOMEDRIVE%\%WINDIR%\inf directory by default for the SeaTel_CDC.inf file. If
youi placed the file in another directory, then browse that directory and press Next.
5. The Hardware Installation window will then inform you that you are installing the SeaTel USB Serial
Port and that it has not passed Windows Logo Testing. Click the Continue Anyway button.
6. Click the finish button to complete the USB Driver Installation Process
