Postprocessor User's Guide For: DMG Dmu 70 Evo

This document provides instructions for using a postprocessor for a 5-axis dual table milling machine. It explains that the geometry view determines which machine coordinate system will be used, as each MCS specifies the reference for the NC code. This is important for ensuring correct replay and verification. It also notes that any local coordinate systems set up must have their special output set to "use main MCS" to generate accurate NC code.

Postprocessor User's Guide for

DMG DMU 70 eVo

This is a 5-Axis Dual Tables Milling Machine.

In order to use this postprocessor correctly, you should follow the instruction below.

1. Geometry Group
The Geometry view of the ONT is used to determine which MCS (Machine Coordinate System) will be
used. Each MCS determines where the NC code will be referenced to. This is important if you want
have correct replay and verification.
The template or seed part provided has the MCS’s set up correctly in the Geometry view.
1.1 Local coordinate system
If user set up a local coordinate system please set the Special Output as “Use Main MCS”. This is very
important to output correct NC code.
